I saw in my last match, 2 corporations, boosting in the hills.
They were taking turns killing each other and hacking and rehacking each others' vehicles.
Needless to say, the corp in question on our team doing this was Stand Alone Clones.
My corp, The.Primes, and my allies, The Phoenix Federation, put a stop to that bull real quick.
This is some uber bullshit and really destroys the game. |

All of your kind really try hard to **** on this game.
The community is really one of the worsts.
All FPS communities are.
CCP really needs to de-emphisize the FPS in this game both in marketing and development.

Funny, have bee thinking about this "exploit" yesterday Well instead of whining i would cheer people who despite being pitted against each other, behave out of the box and are capable of cooperation This is good sign It reminds me of DUST Karting thread |

Really, of all the things to get up in arms about, you're going with -this-?
Some fellas just want to meet the finnicky requirement for getting free stuff so they can get on with playing in their normal fashion.
At least they're actually doing something in the game. It's not quite as dead as the ol' MCC disco which is an enduring problem, this current 'issue' is wholly transient. |

They should have went invisible to do it.
When I tried to look up the dev post about the prizes it just told me that leaving the site would possibly lead to spoofing so I didn't bother.... what are the chances of being able to use the prizes without having spent close to 2-3 million in SP to do so?
I no longer care about the money, I have enough so there is no reason for me to worry about trading on the market place or getting rid of the junk that has built up even it is the same thing with just a different name or color, even though CCP reduced the junk collection down to 1 in most cases.... really I killed 25 and had 25 assists with only 2 deaths; hit for the cycle 1 tank, 1 lav, 1 dropship 3 times..... you telling me I only looted 1 M8 Locus Grenade made the 298,000 isk worth it..... do I have a BINGO?
There is a disconnect from CCP and the players. |

You misunderstand and Im not even talking about weapon balancing just explosive spamming in general Due to the event everyone is doing their best to get kills so they can get their rewards which has led to mass explosives spamming as a large quantity of people try to kill steal from each other with the splash damage |

Hi all,
We understand that there are limitations in-game currently that needs to be improved and we are taking steps to address them. With Uprising 1.2 we've introduced some of the changes to improve gameplay and we will continue to do so with subsequent updates in shorter cycles.
In the mean time, we're hosting in-game events to spice things up for our players and keeping people engaged in DUST. As more improvements are introduced into the game, the better and more varied our in-game events will become. We certainly appreciate your feedback on the events and will be improving them overtime.
Our Mordus' Challenge event dev blog has now been updated with rules that clearly define what actions will count towards meeting the event requirements. Please view them at http://dust514.com/news/blog/2013/07/mordus-legion-announces-mordus-challenge/ for more details.
Thank you. |

While I disagree with boosting.... Theres only so many installations you can destroy/hack and the event requires 100 of both.
This means that in a map like Manus Peak where there are only five/six turrets..... It would require 125,000 matches for every Player JUST TO DESTROY them. Boosting vehicle hacks is about the only way thisevent can be accomplished with Objectives and CRUs being the only other option and theyre in heavily combative areas, obviously.
So, considering that this event is only for a week, that means youre narrowed down to potentially having to do 17,500 matches a day just to hit 100 as a maximum. I dont like those odds. So, yes, while I havent done it - mostly to withhold my reputation for future needs - I can entirely understand players boosting so that they have more time to focus on other areas of the event.
And honestly, 50x suits+weapon+gear is very appealing for those players who arent too great on ISK or just want to suplement their stock. Just a shame they arent giving Gallente Assault gear. |

Hacking one or two installations in a match is not hard..and also destroying ONE installation is not hard either.
We talking about 50 to 100 battles, in a FULL WEEK ....you guys are overreacting. |

Your are too harsh at assessing CCP's fails. If somebody starts to do new things and "sucks" in the beginning it just means she will improve with time. Not that she should stop doing this "new thing".
DUST game model is somewhat different from the previous old ones. Old ones would sit in developing limbo until somebody decides it is polished enough to show to the people and rip them off they money in the obscene manner. This game of DUST is almost "crowd sourced" and made on the go, getting better and better on monthly basis while people are already using it. There is more pressure on developers in this new way than in the old way. Whines and curses are inevitable
But it is not mandatory to buy AUR... You can actually play for free... At the price |
