Bungie has announced that PvP won't ever be a factor although competitiveness through pve will be encourage.
There's only 3 classes with limited spells.
So basically it's a pve heroes dream, it's pointless, un challenging and no competition. Just the same old grinding rubbish with nice graphics. If your a competitive PvP type gamer then this game is absolutely 100% not for you,

Destiny is going to be an amazing game. It's not supposed to be PvP. I'd take PvE over PvP any day. Destiny won't really have an effect on Dust. |

When the developers of the the recent Halo's and Call of Duty were making this game, i knew it would be a completely flop. They are masters at building a ton of hype that idiotic little kids buy into, but i have known better since halo 3, and call of duty 4. |

The Last of Us was amzaing too. You guys are being moronic. A game doesn't need PvP to be good, it's a game focused on story, so PvP isn't something you use to tell a story really. It isn't from the Developers of COD. The PUBLISHERS of COD are funding it. The Developers of Halo are making it, Halo has always been an enjoyable game, though Microsoft forced Bungie to make 2 more when they wanted to stop at 3. Destiny has been in development for years. |

Yes, but you're calling it garbage because it doesn't have PvP, when every game IS PvE unless it has multiplayer in it. Most games are PvE. |

I agree that the Last of Us is amazing. However I could never see how a 3rd person shooter woudl completely kill a FPS even if the FPS was really bad (like dust). Numbers are still falling for dust dont let the server numbers fool you as they added Eve and Dust together to mask the actual dust numbers. That being said I am going to wait until Destiny is closer to coming out before I make any decision but it looked awesome at E3.....and even if its not PvP may still be worth getting. |

Destiny will be fun, but it will still be one of those loot-based FPSs with limited abilities and the only thing pushing you forward is the hope of finding a better gun, which will soon become useless as you level up a couple more times. There will be $15 expansions if you wish to continue seeking more guns to take down the bad guys, then in a couple years a $60 sequel.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy games like what Destiny appears to be, but it is no substitute for what Dust is working towards. |

One final thing, the whole dust is dead rubbish is just people projecting their feeling as fact, there were barely 1000 players in eve at the start, it had it's ups and downs and now look at it. Keep bumping my thread thanks :-) |

This thread reminds me of all the kiddies that used to say "Global Agenda isn't dying" all the way up until half a year AFTER the developer had stopped supporting the game.
I used to drop into the community with the sole purpose of having a quiet chuckle at how deep in denial the tiny group of hangers-on were. That wasn't the first game I did that with, wasn't the last either, and if Dust's current direction is any indication..... I'll still have many opportunities for quiet chuckles in the future......  |
