Why not add the skills for all the missing racial suits as well?
Seems like a good pre-emptive move and all. it's odd you didn't take that good idea all the way. |

They added in scrambler and flaylock skills before the actual item, may or may not be a mistake, either way they're there now. |

They were accidentally left in. Types in the client need to be published in order to test and work on them. We (and by 'we', I mean 'me' ) didn't unpublish them once we knew they weren't going into 1.2.
As a side note, the bonuses on those skills are all placeholder. |

Thanks for clearing that up, mate.
You guys may have included it by mistake, but sometimes the best ideas come from such mistakes. I'm telling ya! You are onto something ;)

I like that the skill is in, this mistake allows us to speculate and rage over something new. These kinds of accidents are good and fun, I would like to see more as long as they are usable within a few updates.
I would really like to see some real prototype items dropped. Drop some actual pilot suits as loot here and there to allow pilots to use them. Drop some scout or heavy suits that have racial bonuses that are different from the one we have now. They could always be recalled at the next patch cycle or DT. Giving mercs the chance to win something that is a true prototype would be really cool and encourage more players to be on playing instead of AFKing. |

Vehicles aren't really my area, but we will be addressing vehicle and AV weapon balance (and of course the Pilot role falls into this). They can't be done independently for obvious reasons so it'll be a big fat chunk of work that'll get done just as soon as we get a whole lot of other niggling bits and pieces out of the way.
We'll put out the numbers before the release that contains these go out so y'all can rip it apart as you tend to do |

I'm confused; are you saying only have pilots suits as a salvage? If so, no. |

He's suggesting that CCP put litteral prototype pilot (and other) suit designs in as salvage. Both as a way to test out balance without causeing major issues if something ends up really OP (since CCP can control the amount of them in game and remove them easily with a hotfix) and as a way to encourage people to actually play the game. |

No I don't think that they are in as salvage. they are listed under minatar medium suits or somewhere under minatar.
It shows the skill tree necessary to get there and some stats but you can't unlock them. |

Doomed So someone skilled into something that isn't out in the game yet, where they cannot see what stats that particular something will have, and still deserve a respec/refund/whatever, just because they were too stupid to think for themselves? Christ, do you even think before you sperg brainfarts all over the forums?
2nd point about shield energizers, that don't take skills to use.... Well, it does seem a bit obvious that everything ingame, bar militia items and a portion of Aur items, require skills to use, where increasingly better/effective variations of that item requires more SP investment. If something is otherwise, then unless CCP explicitly mentions that these items will not require SP, a person with a slight measure of intelligence would assume, in most cases correctly, that this is most likely due to an oversight.
In particular:hamual jackson wrote:You guys never learn that those same mistakes you keep making This line highlights your barely disguised hypocrisy and shows how much of a fool you are.
tl;dr You're stupid, your post is bad and you should feel bad.
EDIT: toned down the flaming and disgust I feel at such levels of idiocy and entitlement
EDIT2: I just realized that you can't even buy the skill since it's not on the market, and the only reference to it ingame is the extra skill node in the skill tree. Thus, you are crying about people 'deserving' a refund/respec for ISK and SP they HAVE NOT COMMITTED YET. Well done! Idiocy has reached new lows today |

Idiocy has reached new lows today Did i say give a refund, and i just noticed swell. People skilled into flaylock and scrambler rifle before they hit the market. Energizers show stats. Im glad i upset you though, mistake that result in any spending isk on equipment to later not be able to use constantly occurs in updates. Now go find another thread to troll i see you do it quite often...... |

Sometimes accidents give us Penicillin, other times they give us Chernobyl. My accidents resulted in mostly babies.
But yeah, you kind of let us see what you were going for (even if by accident) and the community responded with tons of feedback(tankers said "give us the OP stats" and everyone else said "please...no") |
