- Lower the price of the advanced suits ( Scouts die far to often when fulfilling their role ) - Binoculars to "Spot" units for Orbital Strikes - Vehicle sabotage ( Disable LAV's and tanks for a short period, EG; Engine overload / Weapons Overheat ) - Build in active scanner, that all the Squad members benefit from it. - Build in up-link ( Squad members can re-spawn in the scout directly, without the need for a Drop up-link )
Just few ideas. |

All the non assault roles should have had a built in something or another. The old hazard logi suits had repair guns and at one point the repair tools were off the market yet they still had them. o sidearm but a repair tool seems like it made sense.
An active scanner or uplinks that are scaled to the suit level seem appropriate to me, but a built in cloaking device seems even better. |

First three I really like but the last two might be a bit too powerful and/or could actually hinder some scouts.
Imagine you are trying to sneak past a whole squad of raspberries when all of a sudden your Heavy squad mate pops on top of you and goes gung ho. Chances are your wimpy little scout suit isn't going to survive the ensuing gunfight.
I do think the built in stealth device would be nice, though. |

Assault amarr has way more PG\CPU than assault minmatar. Regarding scouts, i'd buff them through mobility. That's their main perk.
But before buffing, i'd wait till the new plates land. Scouts may very well be the ones of will benefit the most from those ferroscale armor plates without penalty |

ya , i wouldnt take a buff in mobility, i have all my mobility at lvl5 running complex cardiac and catalyzer with my proto minnie. Believe me, im fast enough and endurance is through the roof. I also dont think we need a suit price drop, for me at least its a very fair price.
I will however take a buff in CPU, its tough running full proto gear on a proto scout suit. I only use proto knives and proto nades, ive sacrificed a sidearm to fit more shield comp extender on top of my complex mobility mods. running a compact hive as well cuz its super cheap and its nice to have a one time armor rep. in a pinch. |

Make them easier to fit, and make it so they benefit the most from using cloaking devices. For the record, I like the binoculars idea, actually, but then you'd have to wonder why everyone doesn't have them
I have some footage somewhere of a couple stupidly fast Mini scouts, it was more amusing than anything, but the frame rate gets upset with them. I help calm it down by cooking grenades, assuming they don't just randomly appear behind me with a knife in my back. |

Adding in a Repair Tool to a sidearm slot would make switching to it so much easier on a Logi bro. Maybe as an option if you did add it there; it would remove an equipment slot, so you don't effectively have an extra equipment slot to play with. |

I would say a slight Minny sprint speed buff so Gallente or any other upcoming scout suit with many low slots cant easily out sprint them.
Definitely a CPU/PG buff - I also liked the thread in requests about giving them one extra slot (Gallente High / Minnie Low)
On the OP - I have placed some RE's under vehicles whilst not moving and even dealt some great damage to a tank.
Once gain - I would even think about upgrading my RE but with the added requirements it would compromise my other gear. |

When I read about how this game had scan precision, profile radius, etc, I was hoping the effect would mean a scout would have far higher sensitivity to spotting enemy suits via LOS. I was disappointed. |

How about some of these for off the wall suggestions
Scout suits don't use up a respawn from an Uplink Scout suits all get bonuses built into the suit for using Hacking Mods Scout suits get PG/CPU bonuses for fitting Stealth Mods and/or Jumppacks when they come out. Scout Suits can switch vision modes like Infrared and thermal to EASILY spot people Scout suits can bunny hop, jump on top of freight containers and onto 2nd story ledges. Scout suits get a bonus to spawn speed, so when a match starts they are already moving when others come in.

Definetly more PG/CPU
Default movement is sprint and not walk. Sorry just having problems with sprint command on my DS3 controller. Same action but sometimes my scout will walk instead of sprint. |

We have 2 very different types of scouts. Minnie scouts won't benefit at all from armour plates, as they only have 2 lows at prototype. I imagine gal scouts will benefit greatly from em.
Minnie scouts start off with about 30 less CPU than gallente scouts (at Proto), which is strange, because Minnie suits typically have more than their gallente counterpart. I wasn't clear above. I don't think scouts need to go any faster, but they do need another edge. |

It doesn't boost LOS but it can mark enemies on the radar if they are close and your scanning is much more accurate than their dampening threshold. If that makes any sense :P |

We lose a High Slot on the Proto, very few things on Scouts make sense. :P. But yeah, the higher CPU/PG is what made me choose Gallente over Minmitar. |

Considering how easy they are to take down, I think for the Minmatar Scout they should replace the Nova Knife benefits with increased movement/sprinting speed.
Nova Knives are all ready mega power (with maxed Proficiency and Mods). No use for overkill. Fast movement could make up for their weak suits. |

Naw I'm not a scout. I'm just new. (I run a Forge Cannon) I did spend the last month testing out different builds. I made an alt nova knife build. The only problem with it is you can't knife while sprinting. That slight stutter step when you go for the knife really hurts the build. |

I think it is obvious from the responses in this thread that the majority of scouts are minmitar. I come to this conclusion from personal experience (I see very few gallente scouts running around) - but also from the fact that most people are (self-interestedly) asking for buffs specifically for the Minmitar scout - as a gallente scout I should say that even with the Ferroscale armor plates we still have to balance protection with speed - unlike the MInnie scout with their superior shield tanking. In order for a proto Gallente to outrun a proto Minnie, one must have all four of one's low slots with Complex cats --even a single plate will slow us down below the speed of a minnie - with less protection. The only reason I use the gallente is because the design is boss. That being said, most of us scouts are gluttons for punishment anyway
I doubt we'll get anything to balance the suit classes |

Just few ideas. I think that scouts should have more E-warfare attributes. Along the lines of what you're saying here. Better detection would be nice. Although the Gallente Scout is the only suit that can actually have a nice sized scan radius, around 30 meters I believe. |
