So more like 1/20 or 5% of the playerbase. edit - I think I've been pretty generous with my numbers there, so I'd say that 5% is probably the absolute upper limit of that estimation.

I was really just trying to point out that the OP suggestion of 1/10 is way too high. I wouldn't be surprised if 1,000 players total play in PC but at least half of them would be only every once in a while, like once a week maybe.

People like to say "oh we're FPS gamers, the wars will never stop", but there'll be a time when war simply becomes no longer viable as people realize what they can and can't hold. I'd say 80% of corps have realized that they can only hold so many districts and are sitting on that many or are working on getting a few more to reach their limit. Some corps are overextending currently, but nothing can be done about it really since there's no one in PC left to take all those districts with out overextending themselves.

That's why I calculated it by number of corps rather than number of districts. There aren't many corps that aren't fighting at least once a day. I even removed 2 corps from the equation because Neg Feed have stopped playing. Also, it doesn't matter if they're not playing every day - I'm talking total numbers, not daily figures.

I've played PC, long enough to realize it's less fun than CB. Yes, there are some no shows but every corp with land will have a PC team that plays at least some matches, even if they do skip some. This is easily out-weighed by the corps that field multiple teams.

You didn't like CB better? CB made me feel full, like a full course meal. PC is a Japanese meal. pretty to look at but doesn't fill you up. Every night after I got paid my isk I would head to the warf where tayna had a brothel.... um I mean I would head to the upper districts where I would dine with elegant ladies. nice save shut up.

I do not play PC but i don't say it's not interesting. The PC mechanics are prohibitive and not a lot of people play it, so i'm asking why the devs have promoted this game mode instead of another game mode more open to every player. All these effort for 1/20 of the player base, while the remaining 19/20 plays the same pvp over and over again.
