Have you seen matches full of proto logis? It's lovely to see all of these logis pub-stomping matches instead of assaults. but what is each role supposed to do. Logis are meant to support the team and the assaults are meant to fight, but logis do need to defend themselves. What do you think need or should be done to make each more into their perspective roles.
I think that Logis should recive less WP from kills and more WP from repair, revives and resuppling, and spawns(anything related to equipment) for example half WP from kills and x1.5(or x2) WP from Repair, Resupply, Reviving allies, and Spawning allies in.

Hmm... This is a tough one. I run logi myself and it is easy getting WP. I don't think an increase in WP for supporting the team is the way to go. I would say allow logi to only use sidearms but I love using Mass Driver, great for support. |

The logi bonus should be lower cpu/pg for equipment, then reduce cpu/pg on suits. That way the extra cpu/grid isn't used for hi/low slots with nothing or little in equipment slots.
Also. Have you seen the assualt bonuses? They should be better. Maybe you wouldn't even have to touch logis if you gave them a decent bonus. Like 5% weapon damage at proto level? |

I'm only that knowledgeable when it comes to the Amarr logi and assault, so I will talk about those. The assault is faster, more stamina, more HP, better shield recharge; the Amarr suit trades these things for 2 more equipment slot. That one at least is balanced.
I don't know about the other suits, but I do know the Caldari logi is a real problem. The rest could just be explained by preference, but I'm still not sure. |

The only logi that is inbalanced is the Caldari one It has too many Slots, its too powerfull and if you only authorize Side arms expect to de the GODlock pistol to be used everywhere because "I have a logi and cant use ARs. Mmm... Well Flylock is most OP sidearm so....why not" |

So, let me ask this like I've asked in the 4349037230957 nerf logi topics before this one. How are all logis an issue? I don't see any Amarr, Gallente or Minmatar logis beasting on the field. If you do, ask them what their fits are. The rest of us logis must not be doing something right. |

I play a proto logi and I agree, its broken the quick and easy way would be to limit a logi suit to ONLY have a side arm. |

Logis need high health so they can support the team, but need little offense so they can't become a slayer (Or at least make it so they can't be better at the slayer role then assaults). Give assaults a better bonus (Such as +2% damage per level). |

There are tanks, LAVs, dropships, and other dropsuits you can demolish with fluxes. (Most people in this game shield tanks)
That's like saying why should I have to have AV to deal with a tank. |

You do realize that logi shields recharge slow as **** right? So we do not flow between multiple 1v1 engagements as well as assaults, right? If we want to put on a recharger to get rates similar to assaults we lower our shield HP to that of assaults and end up being very similar to assaults with slower base movement, slower reload, and no sidearm in exchange for our utility to the team and armor repair.
The incremental advantages to killing (reload speed, sidearm, shield recharge, movement rates) that assaults have over logis make assaults necessary to optimize squad play ... which this game is arguably centered on. |
