Logis need high health so they can support the team, but need little offense so they can't become a slayer (Or at least make it so they can't be better at the slayer role then assaults). Give assaults a better bonus (Such as +2% damage per level). |

There are tanks, LAVs, dropships, and other dropsuits you can demolish with fluxes. (Most people in this game shield tanks)
That's like saying why should I have to have AV to deal with a tank. |

There are tanks, LAVs, dropships, and other dropsuits you can demolish with fluxes. (Most people in this game shield tanks) That's like saying why should I have to have AV to deal with a tank. What? In EVE, shields give you a larger signature and make it easier for ships to lock onto you, so there's no excuse that something similar didn't translate to Dust 514 while armor, yet again, gets shafted. |

Whoever gave the Caldari Logi more high slots than the Assault is a complete idiot. Its already got its equipment slots, should be -1 or maybe even -2 high slots to make sense. |

So Cal Logi needs faster reload time while the Cal Assault would get more out of shield extenders as originally intended. I'm still convinced this was a typo.

You do realize that logi shields recharge slow as **** right? So we do not flow between multiple 1v1 engagements as well as assaults, right? If we want to put on a recharger to get rates similar to assaults we lower our shield HP to that of assaults and end up being very similar to assaults with slower base movement, slower reload, and no sidearm in exchange for our utility to the team and armor repair.
The incremental advantages to killing (reload speed, sidearm, shield recharge, movement rates) that assaults have over logis make assaults necessary to optimize squad play ... which this game is arguably centered on. |
