Removing the Pub Stomp that is chasing new players away from the game.
I guess their current solution is matchmaking so they should work on that.
Of course their last two solutions have failed...they would be better served simply removing the SP/leveling system form the game entirely. |

The small player count in battles.
16 vs 16 in a game designed like Dust 514 is just laughable. 32 vs 32 should be an absolute barebones minimum. Unfortunately, there are a handful of smaller problems that make increasing player count a pipedream. |

Fixing current issues retains older players.
Adding the rest of the game gets new players.
Both are critical. |

Lets not be so hasty there my friend, there are some easy (ish, I don't code so it may actually be a huge hassle, I don't know), but I have a few ideas.
Matchmaking according to average meta-level of your useable gear. That should keep protos with protos, and (for lack of a better word) grunts with grunts. Or maybe even spent SP Or create a 'no party' game mode where squads cannot join, and will try to match people in the same corp away from each other, and no mics Or according to game time spent
There's many ways of matching people up, properly. Academy (if thats what its called) Is a GREAT example of this, where newbies can play with newbies, and these guys are almost always on the same level as you as they have spent as much in game time as you and unless they bought items with real money, they have no real advantage over you. |

It's not what I want, but their priority should be
Stability: No hard crashes/freezes/FPS drops over time. Bug stomping and such. Fix PC
Balance: Ground weapons need variety, all but two are extinct.
AV / Vehicles: Quit making it a joke where one cheap forge gun can do 6400 damage to a 1.5 million isk, 13 million SP dropship out of nowhere. Especially when vehicles take multiple people to operate they can't all be 2 shot by some noob with his easily accessible rail turret / forge gun. Because if there's 3 people in a vehicle that's three people that could have AV on the opposing team. Except they only need one. The other two are overkill and make vehicles a waste of isk/sp
New content: New weapons, vehicles, suits. All racial variants as placeholders if they're not complete. New maps, installations.
Expanded breadth: Larger maps, larger player counts.
And somewhere in there remove horribly lame mechanics like red-lines all together. Rather be camped than see any team hiding in red line. |

Actually another issue, the mix of players with a KB+M and a controller.
Its a fact that its better, faster to play shooters with a KB+M, and with the aim assist being ******** most of the time, people using a controller are at a huge disadvantage (and given that its a free game, the general demographic that are playing Dust are going to be using a controller). |

Consequences of radical re-balancing by CCP needs to be resolved.
Mainly because others have already mentioned the stuff I really want but the above is also important. |
