After watching it and now reading the pic. Note the wording "Immersive" MPO. I wonder if online will still be free but you wont have access to cloud features like the share button and what ever other premium online features they have planned for M-player. Not saying 5 bucks is going to break bank. But its been nice to have had PSN for 7 years free. Hey look 7 years free. I just saved enough to buy a PS4 :) |

I'm not arguing either way on that. I'm just saying that people complained about the XBL Gold cost to play online and gave that as a big reason for wanting PS3's. Now people are willing to let Sony do the same thing and accept it. That is all I was committing on. I'm an Xbox fanboy and I know it. I could care less about trade in. I own 1 game disc, and that is BF3. Every other game that I own, is digital. All of my old discs I either gave away or brought back to Gamestop. Once I could get them online, I figured why should I go to Gamestop? I have 2 games pre-ordered, BF4 and SC: Black List, both disc games, but whatever, doesn't really matter that much to me.
There's nothing wrong with the PS4, but really, other than a hardware upgrade, it doesn't offer anything that PS3 doesn't. XB1, gives me more features, as far as the media control is concerned. I personally like the idea of having one box to rule them all. |

Wrong, starting in July all XBL Gold members will get 2 games per month. Starting with Halo 3 and AC2.

Now people are willing to let Sony do the same thing and accept it. Honestly, the main reason most are accepting it, is because of the current opinions on the Xbone. If microsoft hadn't done so much to alienate their consumers, the monthly subscription might seem like a bigger flaw. But when you compare them with current opinions, the monthy subscription isn't seen as bad because of the extra negative stigma the Xbone carries with it. |

Personally the PS Plus requirement for MP does not impact me since I am already a PS Plus subscriber. I hope they contain to provide the "free" games to PS Plus subscribers on the PS4.
But I still do not like the requirement. Many people are going to complain about this. |

Except I don't subscribe to any of those services since I have cable with DVR and what not. The only service I sub to is Amazon. Those services however do not constitute the whole of what XB1 can do. I can control my TV, get my football and other sports, as well as multi-task other things like getting the latest up to the minute updates from other games and what not.
I'm not slamming the PS4, by any means, I'm just saying that for me, it doesn't have the features that I want AND in fact offers no new features over the existing PS3. It only offers a hardware upgrade.
I'll still buy a PS4, I have to many friends around the world that are PS exclusive players, just like I have friends that are exclusive XB players....so I'll be getting both, but I'll get the XB1 first.... |

You have to sub to the individual services, but you don't have to have a PS Plus plan to use it. The new PS Plus plan will only effect Multi-player online. Which begs the question, will Dust players that are not on Plus be required to pay $60/year to Sony to play Dust? |

MS didn't announce any next-gen games for XBL Gold, however since XB1 doesn't play (at least not confirmed) 360 games, I would imagine that on release XB1 games will be available. Oh and those games you are talking about, aren't premium games, they are independent developer's games that are no even close to AAA titles on the PS4. |

More than only being able to play online, PS+ offers free games....they will give Xcom AND Uncharted 3 for ps3 this month..they will give a Plus version of DriveClub at lauch...for free...Xbox Live will not do that, they will charge you to be able to play that used game that you already paid at GameStop... I would like to know your source for this (Xcom and Uncharted 3 for PS Plus). Personally the PS Plus requirement for MP does not impact me since I am already a PS Plus subscriber. I hope they contain to provide the "free" games to PS Plus subscribers on the PS4. But I still do not like the requirement. Many people are going to complain about this.
My source: go to http://blog.us.playstation.com/ Every week they put what will be the Free game of the week....Something that only now MS begun to do....PS Plus already gave InFamous 2, LBP 2, Darksiders, Bioshock, RE 5 Gold, Sleeping Dogs, Uncharted for vita...that is only the US plus, the Euro Plus gave Hitman Absolution, Dead or Alive, Read Dead Redemption, Demon Souls (also on US)....i can keep up, but it's too many free games...and discouts....and time trials...and free stuffs....DLC's... |

Funny,I was thinking kind of the same thing. They said that you could play all of your single player titles for free on PSN,but didn't say anything about online MP games. The deliberate and calculated wording really makes one wonder. All that stuff is irrelevant because it being mandatory screws up every positive thing that might come with PS Plus.
I was so excited. KH3, Planetside 2(sorry guys), Diablo 3, and FF15; then I hear about this pay-for-online crap.
It wasn't even mentioned either, subtle cash-grab much Sony? Might as well have said 399 + mandatory sub, why would anyone pay for a PS4 that doesn't have multiplayer capabilities? Sony is now making you pay to pay to play the game. |

I really don't care to give U$49 for a year of PS Plus...it's only once in a year....It's not like buy a Merc pack on Dust, where you lost most of the stuff on the field...
Of course you are right, we already have to pay for the console and the game, but that's Capitalism, we have to deal with it... |
