XBL Gold only cost $5 a month too.
As far as I can tell, the thing that makes the PS4 better at this stage is:
"You can trade in the game, lend it to a friend, or keep it forever." |

I'm not arguing either way on that. I'm just saying that people complained about the XBL Gold cost to play online and gave that as a big reason for wanting PS3's. Now people are willing to let Sony do the same thing and accept it. That is all I was committing on. I'm an Xbox fanboy and I know it. I could care less about trade in. I own 1 game disc, and that is BF3. Every other game that I own, is digital. All of my old discs I either gave away or brought back to Gamestop. Once I could get them online, I figured why should I go to Gamestop? I have 2 games pre-ordered, BF4 and SC: Black List, both disc games, but whatever, doesn't really matter that much to me. There's nothing wrong with the PS4, but really, other than a hardware upgrade, it doesn't offer anything that PS3 doesn't. XB1, gives me more features, as far as the media control is concerned. I personally like the idea of having one box to rule them all. Makes since I'm a gamer so those features are pointless to me, and ps4 will still have netflix and internet for my **** that's all the media I need To expand on that a bit:
From day one of the PS4, 150,000 movies and TV shows will be available to the "Video Unlimited" service on the PlayStation Network. "Music Unlimited" offers 20 million-plus songs to stream across PlayStation platforms, Android devices, and iPhones. All the usual suspects join these two when it comes to available servicesGÇöNetflix, Amazon Instant, MLB TV. And Lynton did announce new partners such as Red Box (and its 7,000 movies) and Flixster. |

Do you have to pay for it? No idea. Besides, this is all launch hype right now. Should probably wait until it settles down a bit and more solid information comes out. |

Funny,I was thinking kind of the same thing. They said that you could play all of your single player titles for free on PSN,but didn't say anything about online MP games. The deliberate and calculated wording really makes one wonder. More than only being able to play online, PS+ offers free games....they will give Xcom AND Uncharted 3 for ps3 this month..they will give a Plus version of DriveClub at lauch...for free...Xbox Live will not do that, they will charge you to be able to play that used game that you already paid at GameStop... I would like to know your source for this (Xcom and Uncharted 3 for PS Plus). Personally the PS Plus requirement for MP does not impact me since I am already a PS Plus subscriber. I hope they contain to provide the "free" games to PS Plus subscribers on the PS4. But I still do not like the requirement. Many people are going to complain about this. People would complain if they were given both a Xbox One and a PS4 for free. It goes a long way to explaining why I don't like people. |

And as yet another side note: the majority of those services won't be available to the majority of PS4 owners anyway as those services won't be available in their countries. |
