All the circle jerking, chest beating, and sand in the vag posts aside (apologies to the ladies out there for that terminology);
There is one thing pretty much any respectable non-delusional skilled player knows in their hearts. No one knows who has the better corp/players.
We played Eon a lot today/last night. When we had the server we won. Every time. When we didn't have the server we lost. Every time. PC currently is frustrating and burning people out not because of the frequency of the fights or the delay between attacks. Awoxing is a cute red herring but really doesn't matter. It's just the code for the PC battles sucks. Lag, rubber banding, frame rate issues, etc...
We are all frustrated because we don't KNOW how any match woulda gone were everyone on equal footing. All this you suck we are awesome bullshit is patently ridiculous. IF PC is fixed so that games run smoothly for everyone involved these kinds of threads will be fine. People will have no problem Playing. Until then it's all delusion.

I think timing of the battles was just important. You guys won the first three, the early ones (your primetime). We won the rest, (our primetime). Being able to bring your best guys is much more important than getting server.
Convincing guys to wake up early at 8am, or in your case stay up to 5am is always going to be difficult, and put you at a major disadvantage.
Our only close match of the day was right in the middle ~6pm for us ~11pm for you guys. Props for taking it from us at the last minute. Look forward to the rematch tomorrow. |

Timing is important as well I agree. But honestly frame rate dropping to under 10 and rubber banding back 15 feet when you are shooting someone (and thereby been shooting the wall the whole time) neutralizes skill. I think anyway.
And it's fcking annoying! |
