We lost one district to SI (after Vacuum attacked it 6 times and got the clone count down). That is the only district we have lost in combat since PC started. We've taken about 10 CRONOS districts. I like your alternative history lesson though, I sure feel real sore 
Sad to see you so proud over one victory, first week of PC was us fighting Orion, it had nothing to even do with you guys. I guess the real war is over. Time for you to try and fight a forum war. You don't wit to support that either. |

He's saying you guys are taking a break from the grind, the same as the Cronos fellas. That just because the vantage points are different doesn't mean the reality of it is. Excellent job.
We're not quite that nice of kids. We may have removed the bully, but last I heard the swings were not free. I don't mind letting you have a swing of your own to do what you want with, but your going to have to pay some ISK for it, to cover you know the medical bills I got from removing that bully.

PC is in itself the strong bullying the weak for the most part. I think we play a role in that of course. We also are doing our best to protect the game from being ruined by that kind of behavior applied in excess. Helping Dust Uni after CRONOS destroyed them is one thing that comes to mind, and if any small player groups want to give PC a shot we've got plenty of land for sale, might even ring a bit if you buy some districts since things are getting a bit dull in our space. Pressing a hard offensive on an alliance trying to hold the entire map for themselves isn't exactly bullying. Then again I guess to the players we are making log in 4-5 times a day to fight it is. |

There is one thing pretty much any respectable non-delusional skilled player knows in their hearts. No one knows who has the better corp/players.
We played Eon a lot today/last night. When we had the server we won. Every time. When we didn't have the server we lost. Every time. PC currently is frustrating and burning people out not because of the frequency of the fights or the delay between attacks. Awoxing is a cute red herring but really doesn't matter. It's just the code for the PC battles sucks. Lag, rubber banding, frame rate issues, etc...
We are all frustrated because we don't KNOW how any match woulda gone were everyone on equal footing. All this you suck we are awesome bullshit is patently ridiculous. IF PC is fixed so that games run smoothly for everyone involved these kinds of threads will be fine. People will have no problem Playing. Until then it's all delusion.
I think timing of the battles was just important. You guys won the first three, the early ones (your primetime). We won the rest, (our primetime). Being able to bring your best guys is much more important than getting server.
Convincing guys to wake up early at 8am, or in your case stay up to 5am is always going to be difficult, and put you at a major disadvantage.
Our only close match of the day was right in the middle ~6pm for us ~11pm for you guys. Props for taking it from us at the last minute. Look forward to the rematch tomorrow. |
