My god just read Templar One...if you've read it I'm sure you know what part I'm talking about.
Let's just say being Amarr just got way more interesting in following H.R.M Jamyl. |

Is the book a good read?
I view the empress as one of Amarr's good points. Can we trade Heth for your empress? Heth, despite being very unpopular at the moment hasn't been kicked from power yet. |

Very good read. I highly recommend it, because I just truly had my mind blown by a twist I definitely didn't see coming. |

Puny Caldari scum. You realize not how pathetic your race is. With a flick of the wrist we can break you. You believe yourself allied with the Amarr, yet you are merely being played. A tool for Amarrian domination. Come the conquest of the Minmatar and fall of the Gallente Federation your people will be next in line as servants to the throne. Hail to the empress!

Dust your puny state runs by the might and the Grace of our Immortal Empress. She seeks only to bring enlightenment to the minds darkened by greed, false prophets, and power hungry tyrants.
She seeks to Reclaim the stars in your name, in my name, for all of mankind.
I respect the Caldari people. A dedicated, proud, and loyal people, they have always been our stead fast allies in times of need,
Aero I'm thinking of getting it off of Amazon too. Damn I cant wait to get into another good book. Last series I read was Stephen Kings The Dark Tower. |

I too respect the Caldari, and appreciate their efforts toward the greater good of the Empire with assistance to the Carthum and Viziam corporations, but those who think the things this man has thinks upon the Empress deserve no respect. |

Also what are the opinions on Empyrean Age and Burning Life?
EDIT: And I remember sometime last summer I found a few links to some other stories written by one of the authors of the EVE novels, some lengthy stories but only available to read online. Told myself I was going to read them but I didn't really get into the whole EVE lore until this year. Can't seem to find them, anyone know what I'm talking about? |

You're a Minmatar dressed up as a Caldari. Only a Minmatar would take pleasure in such a barbaric method of murder.
Also, all you Amarr zealots that just dissed the State need to have a word with the barrel end of my scrambler rifle. |

Empyrean Age was decent and includes many of the same characters you read about in Templar One. It is about the events leading up to the current inter-factional warfare that started a few years ago. If you liked Templar One, you will probably enjoy Empyrean Age.
Burning life was written by a different author and had mixed reactions. Without going into too many details it is about the life of a pirate citizen and a corporate Agent. Reactions to Burning Life were mixed, I personally liked it for the world building it did but from what I remember it wasn't as popular as Empyrean Age.

Ruthless - Join young Otro Gariushi on the cold streets of the ice planet C8-CHY VII as fate catapults him into a life of crime and piracy.
Theodicy - A revelation of sinister truths, heroes and demons in the dark days leading to the Battle of Vak'Atioth.
Both stories are by Tony Gonzales, and I believe they are the reason CCP hired him to become part of the fiction team.
There are other "short stories" here. |

Unfortunately it's not really that entertaining. The writing just...isn't that good. The character development is really where it falls flat. Not a single person you'll encounter in the book ever seems to have more depth than a particularly thick sheet of cardboard could provide. |
