Most everyone here on these forums are customers, and we all know the old saying.
Repeat after me,

As a customer I do not have to tell you step by step on how to cook my Bacon but I can tell you when you have burnt my Bacon and that I want new Bacon.
Beta is over, we don't need to give "constructive criticism" anymore. Our bacon is burnt give us new bacon or we will not pay you, end of story!

If you told me 80% of the people posting on the forums are just trolls that work for other gaming companies I would wholeheartedly believe you.
That or there are just a TON of stupid people everywhere. < I'm guessing this is more likely. |

Crying doesnt make your bacon get cooked any better, explaining how you would like it cooked through intelligent feedback would though. Your choice to be a child or an adult. Or just go get bacon elsewhere, instead of threatening to leave, just leave. |

1) customers are often wrong : "i want real bacon, but i'm a vegetarian, so no meat please!" 2) customers are often greedy : "i want my bacon made from an almost extinct species of albino pig!" 3) customers are often uniformed to the point of danger : "i want my bacon raw and aged for 3 months in the open!"
in those cases, you can't make the customer right, you shouldn't make the customer right or it would be dangerous to make the customer right.

Yeah but the customer always knows what the customer wants and in the end if they don't get what they want they leave.

If a see a customer holding a news paper upside down, I will them they are wrong whether they agree with it or not. I use to work as a pharmacy technician once and often I denied customers what they wanted because I knew what they were asking for is either a result of wanting to commit fraud or the result of wanting to abuse drugs. I also worked at convenience stores once and denied many requests to honor a coupon or a refund because I knew they were either wrong or they were trying to pull a fast one over me.
Yeah, I'm one of those people who make customers realize their mistakes. |

Still does not prove that a customer does not get or know what a customer wants.
Newspaper - What does this have to do with anything that a customer wants?
Drug Dealer- If and when your customer that wanted the drugs did not get them from you they move on till they find a drug dealer that is going to give them the drugs.
Coupons - If a customer really wanted to they could always go to customer service and get the amount taken off the bill using an expired coupon. It happens all the time.
Three failed attempts at trying to prove your point that the customer always is right.
When DUST 514 fails because CCP can't deliver to the customer what the costumer wants CCP will have to make a choice, right or wrong.
Like I said the costumer is always right and always knows what they want. If they don't get it they move on.

Ahhh now we are getting somewhere.
If I the customer feel as though CCP is listening to me and giving me what I want I will spend money, and if I like it a lot I will come back and spend even more money.
However if I do not like it I will not spend money on it. |

My personal experience is that the Customer is usually just some fool you smile at and nod in agreement with until they part with their money, and when they are not looking you rub their bacon on your balls before putting it back in their sandwich.
