just had a 3 hour long debate with CCP officials and i got no straight answer so i put this to an open floor
When do you think it is going to be?
When would you like?
Would you want it before or after the next patch? (new toys)
Also of subject- how much aurum would you guys be willing to pay for an optial one in the market?
Feedback will be taken into consideration

Don't get used to skill respecs.
Its just for now, since they are still building the foundation of the game.

After. They should just do it like MAG, after so much WP you can respec. Seems like they will need to offer Respecs more often. |

The only reason we got a respec was the complete restructuring of the skill tree and then a bonus because they did a poor job communicating how the new tree worked. Even when they release the remaining suits, weapons and vehicles I hope they don't offer another respec. Let people work towards near gear as it is announced. |

I think someone brought up this idea, but have an annual optional respec. So that when new content comes out, we don't have to grind it out just to use it (new guns, dropsuits, vehicals, etc.). Also so the people who don't care for the newer stuff wont have to spend time putting thier sp back to where it was.
Example: The new caldari heavy comes out. I don't use a heavy and all my sp is where i want it. So there is new need for me to respec my sp into it. Character x is a heavy and is 'heavily' skilled into amarr heavy suits. He really likes the caldari heavy and wants to skill into it. Character x request a respec, gets his sp, and skills into caldari. Everybody is happy  |

When CCP makes respecs available at any time by anyone then the foundation will be set.
The inability to respec at will is nothing more then a nuisance and adds nothing to the game.

$2 to $3 worth of AUR.
Perhaps cheaper if i only wanted to respec a particular branch rather then the whole tree. |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought it was an optional reset in MAG, but you got to change your faction. |

I think repecs should be given only when you have more than 1.5 Million WP and that WP should be the currency, so when you respect you loose the lifetime WP, move down the leaderboards, and an * put next to your name (in game) showing that you did in fact respect and that * should be there for 2 weeks. |
