Would it be too much to ask for a Klingon Bat'leth?

The Amarr would have a lightsaber... I imagine it would be gold in color. Or just make it a golden high-frequency sword ala Metal Gear Revengeance?

I don't think lightsabers are scientifically feasible. Light doesn't just stop at the length of a sword, it extends indefinitely.

I would love for the Amarr to have a sword, something very flashy and ceremonial looking, low damage compared to the nova knives, but higher range.

I'm not sure if any of you are familiar with Gundam 00, but as far as an Amarrian weapon, one of the weapons the mechs in that show had was a folding knife-type weapon that could vibrate at very high frequencies to enhance it's cutting abilities, but could also channel plasma over this physical blade to create an energy blade.

Why not combine the two into an oscillating plasma sword? I can't find a picture of the damn thing while it's running, but I think that describes the basic concept.

Well, Amarr ARE the EM/Thermal people. Maybe they could have a thermal lance (a la Fallout), or some sort of sconce/shaft-mounted pulse-laser blast implement. You charge it, *thrust*, blam.. charge. Longer range than knives, does mostly shield damage.

Ok, this may be a better depiction of what I'm talking about. It's technically an early Chinese Firearm, a "fire lance". Later versions were similar if you can imagine long bronze barrels with a dragon-mouth design inlaid along the barrel.

I'm picturing it more like the earlier Fire Lance though, where the business end is mostly just the very end. I'd picture it being mostly a polearm without an "edge", that could charged up for an EM blast out of the very end with very short range.

I think unlike the charge on nova knives, this one could be a 1-shot at a time with limited capability to re-prep for another blast (limited ammo). However, after the ammo is used up, you'd still have a bludgeoning implement of sorts.

Having all 4 races have their own melee weapon is great, but if they're all knives then the variety is lost. Instead of each race getting some knives, give them each their own sort of melee weapon.

Minmatar could get badass predator claws for example (pretty please)

Amarr should have some sort or cermonical lance, or spear or something.... something that looks amazing but isn't really practical...like every other Amarrian thing out there.

I want an Amarrian mace. It should swing in a wide arc to catch the quick minnie suits that try to strafe around you and have some damage bleed through shields.
