Doran Gallen Empire Ballistic Assault Force 0	Posted - 2013.05.27 08:27:00 - [1] - Quote The Scrambler Rifle,is right now my favorite weapon.I can tear through a heavy with this and a flux grenade.Not to mention the charge fire which lets me one shot scouts.This weapon has saved me from a lot of "ninjas" and killed me a few times because of it overheating.Haven't tried out the assault version though.And I love the red dot thing.I don't see why not many use this,It's a great gun if you can manage the overheat and can aim well.What do you guys think about this new gun and what are your experiences with it?

I usually run the LR so I know all about heat build up and while it does cause me to die either directly or indirectly I can manage it. I agree that the SCAR seems balanced and is fun to use.

I like to go after small groups of 2 assault guys,I throw a flux grenade then just 3-4 in quick succession for each.There was even this one time where I went toe to toe with a heavy who thought he could take me down even though he had no shields but full armor,I didn't even know then that you could take down a heavy with one full charge shot.

If you cannot see that the TAC outperforms every other AR variant by miles and is therefore broken then you sir are the hypocrite. If you question my skill to use either weapon my Caldari AR is at 3.1 K/D(Thanks TAC!), Heavy 4.3 and my Ammar SR is at 2.6.

I've died many a time to skilled players using it, and many times has a unskilled player died to me because they can't manage the overheat. Seriously, I'm shocked out many people killed themselves by accident or just overheated long enough for me to finish them off.

The damage drop off coupled with a shockingly short optimum range and dispersion (but no dispersion reduction skill!!!) makes it easy to get 2 good shots to the head and then be unable to finish anyone off. I call it the cheerleader gun. Kdr dropped a bit below 3 since I started with it, but I average 32 assists per game!
