They're alot of fun, especially with lvl4 proficiency. Charged shots OHK most all light frames, and some militia medium without even headshots.
I don't understand why you favour Flux grenades considering the SR's strength to shields and weakness against armor.
Despite the Imperial SR Max efficiency range being 48M I've downed ADV Med Caldaris with only two fully charged shots and a quick follow up or two at 60-70M, again without headshots. Although even at that range one to the head will nearly finish them. |

This, ladies and gentlement is called HYPOCRISY.
Then, the assault rifle is OP. My God, what a crazy world.
LMFAO! Go use a SR then a TAC AR then come back and tell me which is OP.
While OHK may be possible it requires SKILL and is a rare occurrence not a common outcome. Beyond that it's overheat function is extremely unforgiving.
The idea that you can determine a weapon to be OP based on a few people's comments about it and never actually trying it yourself is laughable at best. |

I'm tired of kill people with TARs, so I can tell you the same. It's not OP if you suck. Don't confuse OP, with skill, with you playing like a parrow
Playing like parrow? WTF?
If you cannot see that the TAC outperforms every other AR variant by miles and is therefore broken then you sir are the hypocrite.
If you question my skill to use either weapon my Caldari AR is at 3.1 K/D(Thanks TAC!), Heavy 4.3 and my Ammar SR is at 2.6. |

Imp Smash wrote:I like the idea of it. The damage drop off coupled with a shockingly short optimum range and dispersion (but no dispersion reduction skill!!!) makes it easy to get 2 good shots to the head and then be unable to finish anyone off.
I call it the cheerleader gun. Kdr dropped a bit below 3 since I started with it, but I average 32 assists per game!
It is a kill assist machine, especially the Assault. Although only heavys can survive a full charged shot to the head within the Imperials optimal.
Also try out the Flaylock as a secondary, you'll get a few less assists.
