I'm been cruising around Academy for a while now, teaching new players the importance of running AV gear, and while driving supertanks in Academy has been effective for that, I don't imagine it's the intended function of this game mode. Can you do SOMETHING to lock me out of Academy mode? Limit it to militia at the very least? I am regularly going 40-0 and making enough ISK to fund the next alt I take through the Academy system. My corp, First IMPressions, is at the top of the KDR leaderboard now and I'm looking to take over the individual KDR board as well, as an indication of how broken this is. Thanks, Mith

They're also awesome to blow up because you get the satisfaction of knowing that you're destroying someone's real life financial investment into the game & helping encourage them to reinvest. Oh, and I'm not sure but on my non-aur account that I use for promoting the game through my blog I was kicked out of the Academy automatically at 600k sp.

I honestly got the impression that was the angle you were coming from. I felt that I said quite clearly that there had been zero indication of people get butthurt about the tank. If people were raging about it, I might reconsider the approach, but they're not. They're actually getting quite good at jumping onto comms and working to bring it down. This isn't about the risk to to feelings of noobs. The noobs are fine. This is about how farmable those noobs are before they wise up. That's the issue I'm pointing out.

It does need to be fixed and I am not familiar with New Eden. Just a FPS player. But 1 thing I love about most EvE players or the communities is that most of them are asses, fun to read the posts on here and on EvE lol. I love forum dramas but continue on with your plan hopefully CCP will work this out
