I'm been cruising around Academy for a while now, teaching new players the importance of running AV gear, and while driving supertanks in Academy has been effective for that, I don't imagine it's the intended function of this game mode. Can you do SOMETHING to lock me out of Academy mode? Limit it to militia at the very least? I am regularly going 40-0 and making enough ISK to fund the next alt I take through the Academy system. My corp, First IMPressions, is at the top of the KDR leaderboard now and I'm looking to take over the individual KDR board as well, as an indication of how broken this is. Thanks, Mith

I honestly got the impression that was the angle you were coming from. I felt that I said quite clearly that there had been zero indication of people get butthurt about the tank. If people were raging about it, I might reconsider the approach, but they're not. They're actually getting quite good at jumping onto comms and working to bring it down. This isn't about the risk to to feelings of noobs. The noobs are fine. This is about how farmable those noobs are before they wise up. That's the issue I'm pointing out.

It's not hard to make a 2nd account. That would be an exploit of the petition system.
