Since the new build I have like a lot of things but as a logi i have one problem.
I can not tell if i have anymore nanohives available. I need some indication when i press R2 that i have no more nanohives and i need to go replenish my supply. i can not be a good logi if i can not manage my inventory in game. In past builds the item would remove itself from the inventory screen and/or have a number 0 beside it telling you that you are empty. now this is not the case. i die at times because i am moving to support a group and cause my fellow teammates to die because they are expecting support and i think i got support but have nothing because i dopped it early in the match.
and depending on the i may have a different nanohive so the numbers vary in how many you carry at once. ie 3ea- K17/D and 4ea Allotek nanohive. this is extremely vital in PC matches depending on the availability of the Supply Depot. If the SD is not in our possesion and is heavily fortified we can not just walk in and take it so i may have to go into conservation mode with my available nanohives.
All this to say just tell me how many i have or remove it from my inventory when i am empty. |

+1 I hate trying to deploy a Nanohive and not being sure if I'm lagging, out, or just an idiot. |

+1 We had this in Chromosome where we would get a red 0 or something like that next to the equipment on the "fly wheel" and that way we would be able to tell if we had 0 or some left. Now please CCP easy fix bring the old back and maybe add a constant number next to the equipment aka i have 3 nanohives left it states 3 next to my nanohive icon on "fly wheel" and i use 1 and it then shows 2 next to the nanohive.
Easy easy OP pretty much states the state of it so thanks for putting it up |

Change the blue-ish into deep red when empty. Easiest solution i can think of. |

Yes, or a numerical indicator of how many left. We only bring a certain number to battle and sometimes deploying more than 1 of a certain type is not necessary but 1 of each type is. |

Also equipment should automatically replenish when near a supply depot (I know you can manually do it by accessing your fittings with it but it should just happen automatically). Also it would be nice if there was some way to visually indicate how many nanites are left in an already deployed nanohive, or how many spawns are left on an already deployed uplink. |

They could probably make the nanohive fade as it gets low. Go from bright to not so bright and then dim and then gone. this could also coincide with the levels of nanohive. Proto = Bright, Advanced = Not so bright, standard = low light and fade aways when empty. |

They really just need some icons on our hud for that kind of stuff. Just have an icon for each consumable near / around our health indicator (like the grenade counter) and a number showing our current inventory.
Basicly I want to know how many I have before ever going to that stupid radial menu. |

Something else that bugs the mess out of me is how fast grenades eat through nanohives. I run the proto ishukone gauged hive and it can barely give out five grenades before sputtering out. If I have a full squad needing to stock up on flux and av grenades plus is running low on ammo I am going to burn through my entire stash of hives in one drop which as stated earlier in this forum lessens my effectiveness as a logi immensly |

^^^THIS^^^ I'm a Heavy and I eat through his Hives in no time flat. A Heavy's equalizer is the flux grenade and replacing them uses up all the clusters in a basic Hive (let alone an advanced or proto) in an instant add in the rest of my guys that need refills on ammo and grenades of their own. If I don't need grenades I can fully refill my HMG ammo with no problems. If I need grenades and no ammo the clusters are used up instantly. Now I understand this is to help reduce Grenade Spam (which is a valid and viable tactic...or used to be) but it is counter productive to my Logibros and players everywhere.
In short, this is just one more thing in a long list that CCP has done to make Logistics more difficult than it needs to be. |
