It would resolve the issues with skill respecs for a huge portion of the playerbase, and also give CCP a proper solution they're actually willing to listen to for the closed beta Merc Pack issue (unlike the perfectly valid solution we've suggested which they seem to be ignoring). But they said a long time ago there would be no more resets, barring a catastrophe, and a lot of people will be upset with CCP for that "lie" if one ends up happening.

You can also petition for a reset if you like and I am pretty sure they will give it to you. If you take away all the SP earned during the beta phase then you will also need to start finding a way to attract alot of new players because a huge portion of the current player base will leave. The game is not that revolutionary at this point so why grind for a 2nd or 3rd time just to get the same game they have been playing all along

Hi I bought my call of duty game in the bargain bin for 5$, when I boot up for the first time everyone is already prestige 20 and in those Juggernaut suits.

Beta's are for bug finding and feedback on the game, not grinding to get a head start on everyone else. Yes there will always be someone bigger and better than you in SP BUT in this case the line between Beta and full release has been blurred. If someone in 3 months joins after the release date then they can logically think that they are behind because they came in 3 months after the official launch date, whereas in this case the majority of people would assume that beta progression would not carry across as it has never happened in any other game, ever. Personally I don't normally play beta's as they are buggy and only a handful of gamers will actually provide feedback as a beta is intended for. Now, in this instance they never stated at the start that they would NOT be resetting at launch, if I, and other players had of known this 3 months ago I'm sure we also would of jumped in to grind with the rest of the people.. TL;DR - A beta is a beta, they didn't say at the start beta progression would roll over so people waiting for launch day have a disadvantage. In other words - they had a 3 month head start to the party, not turning up 3 months after it started
