Back when I used to play EVE Online a couple years ago, there was an article where it was said that there were only 5% of female players on it. I have no idea if that number have gone up since my absence from there. It was a cruel world dominated by men, which I can see why it turned most women off. Ever since I first played here since the Beta, I've seen a rise in female players and I am glad for that. I am pretty sure there are some guys posing as females, but that's a minority since you can really tell which are which for the most part. Personally, I think this is a good sign since Dust 514 is more cooperative than most FPS and it will draw in even more players for that reason. What are your thoughts on this?

New Eden is a cruel world. Independent on who is dominating it. Places where money gives the final word, are equally cruel to everyone.

The reason why women get turned out of EVE more than men is because New Eden is a salty place where tears are harvested each day and I'm 100% sure that even if you say that "gamer gurlz exist and they like to collect tears as much as men you sexist"... No. The numbers of tear collector men are still bigger.

Anyways. Nice to see more gurlz playing. :) My gf also likes FPS titles but she doesn't own a PS3, she plays CoD with her friends and such.

(For some reason, everytime I read this threads, I immediately think of "attention hunters". But I don't think that this is the case thou. It just feels like I guess).

Ric is just making his point as are the rest of you..right, Wrong, mislead or arrogance..I'm a female runnin in a males suit-I figuar if i have to look at an a** i'm gonna be looking at a guys. As for Female players we play just as good/bad as you males! Some of you guys get in squad & talk normal as if we're all a team & others do nothing but talk how great you are :S or how big you are.(probable less then avarage) All i know is if you know a female has done a good job in your squad or saved you A** you usally talk it up to her. But the 1 thing i do love most of all is a female blowing up your boy toys.
