The blue on black is tough to read, a different color than blue or different background would fix that. The font doesn't help.
On top 250 players, how is that defined? Is that lifetime WP? If so, it's not an accurate measurement. I'd say WP within the last month or three months would be a more accurate gauge. Not sure if that's available in your dataset, though.
For now its lifetime WP, I could do recently active but I think that is a less meaningful metric. To be in the lifetime top 250 we are talking many hundreds of hours. These are the players with the most SP and the most overall battlefield experience. Another thing to note is that if a player is not highly active they fall from the top rankings quickly. There are a few exceptions of course, players who quit after massive play, however despite the drama in the forums that number is extremely small. I can look for the next report and see how many of the top 250 are not playing anymore, I think its around 5-10.
At the end of the day weekly active tracking without crest would still be limited to top 1000 because of the leaderboard, and require at least 5x more work than top 250 tracking, so even if its marginally better (I personally don't think it is) it is not possible at this point for me. |

If you ever look the people with the most kills are the same people with the most WP. The top 250 for both kills and WP is nearly identical, with an occasional hardcore logi who I think deserves recognition! |

Sounds reasonable. I agree there's no point in spending a lot more time just to filter out a few people who have stopped playing. Nevertheless, if you're looking at who's the most dangerous enemy to face, the ones with most lifetime WP might not be as dangerous as someone with less WP but mad skills.
And yes, WP is the correct measurement. KDR is great for CoD, but not for an objectives-based game like Dust.
If we had proper reporting on ISK spent and destroyed/eliminated, that would be even better, but we don't... |

It was actually by more than 60& armor on the MCC, we held two objectives exclusively the entire match, you flipped the second objective, we responded by taking your objective behind you, I recorded it, don't lie and say you won by 2-3 ticks. He was talking about the unreal CB. please do post it though, I'd like to see myself steamroll some janitorstorm players. |

I take it the other 44 "top 100 corps" have no alliance? I only counted 66 on that page.

Players arent supposed to be mercs...just the corps.
I remember when I first heard of Dust, they said that Eve corps will outsource merc corps to fight for control on planets that are supposed to benefit them. I think Dust players then wanted to turn dust into eve and believed that we should have alliances...in anticipation of owning our own territory. So, now that we are able to hold territory, we have become more than just mercenaries for eve corps. We are actual corps...same as within Eve. |

34 Corporations in the top 100 have no official alliance links. Some groups like PRO claim to have unofficial links, but until I actually see these links acted upon I am not going to credit them. I don't want to report information unless I have some way to verify it. |

Cool info... makes things a bit more clear on alliances, etc and how players are moving. Fun to see.
Does EVE have similar reporters set up? Be interesting if CCP added a position to cover recent news in both games and how things are being affected. Behold, virtual newspaper for a virtual world. |
