militia scrambler pistol is not able to hit targets at 80m range and has 11 shots per reload at max. fail comparison is fail.

To be fair, as a relatively new player I'm doing better with the GLU-5 Tac rifle than I've ever done and the only gun I fear in an assaults hands is the Duvolle Tac. Tac rifles are top dog in this build (imho).

You people don't see the 514 problems this game has that never existed in chromosome, and you blindly defend CCP because... well, drones.

I'm not defending CCP here, they actually did some serious mistakes with this build, and if the TAR is the only weapon which owns now means we have 2 options right now:
Option 1:
Every weapon is broken, except for the TAR
Option 2
The TAR is to strong.

Now make your choice.

What I said before didn't mean the weapon is fine.
It meant that it finally has a use.
Though CCP forgot how it was before the nerf and overbuffed the weapon.

lol, it is the weapon with the most range, right after the Sniper Rifles.

Last build everybody was complaining about the lasers, now you have a weapon which is even more OP then the Laser used to be but thats okay, simply because its an AR? Seriously? You all were complaining about the lasers, and right now, the TAR IS the laser.

CCP has to do something about this.
Nerf the range, or nerf the dmg, or nerf the shooting frequency. Or do it like they did it to the laser: nerf every statistic this weapon has :D

The game feels now very different and I think most of the weapons are balanced because they are all quiet weak, even the protos.
The problem with this is that the TAR stands out so much from this. So we have to make all weapons this powerful, or simply nerf this one weapon, your decision CCP.

It still has pretty crazy recoil on its shots.

I dunno.

I've been trying to use it, it was semi successfull. The odd part is that its for me a very good cqc weapon, much better than the Duvolle. To land enough shots at distance though, especially on a moving target is very hard and only the very best manages to pull it off.

I am however very weary of bringing down the nerf hammer too soon. Do we want to go back to 90% of players using a Gek or a Duvolle?

I have to do some more testing but it seems to me that I don't have gun game enough (Just ask any Imp, I'm just a scrub...) to use it more effectively than I can with a 60 bullet AR, I don't think its right to ask for a nerf on that basis....

So far I've been shot a lot by tac ARs but they seldom kill me and they're almost useless at supression compared to the old laser, a little zig zagging and bunny hopping makes me close the distance in most chases without taking too much damage.

Let it be for now, its too early to tell.
