It seems everyone in proto gear is logi.
Why?
BECAUSE ITS TOO EFFECTIVE AT THE ASSAULTS JOB.
Or how someone from the IRC put it:
"yea, logi's seem pretty strong, and the one match I played all the "good" players are in proto logi suits. They're far too versatile and easy to fit without any kind of penalty to combat, plus all the equipment and stuff. No sidearm isn't too bad when you've got a balac's lol"

Don't listen to him. This is just forum-warrior meta to get everyone to be logis so that CRONOS can stomp you. Until I see a CRONOS youtube with his whole team of proto logis I won't believe him. |

If you dont need 3 equipment slots why not choose Minmatar medium over the logi. Passive armor repair and five high slots. More base shield, less armor, more hp total. |

This is simply ccp over nerfing assault suits to make logis more viable.
From our testing proto assault suits even with spending the 1.5 for both engineering and electronics are under powered. CCP raised the cpu/pg costs of equipment/gear
So all you "Everyone is using assault suits so they must be OP" QQers can now QQ about logis |

Is already noted and has been discussed since fan fest, we're still waiting for things to pan out and have more hands on time before suggesting fixes. Some of us are still stuck on download limbo. |

Do logis still have bigger hitboxes, or did frame sizes change that? Because hitboxes matter when it comes to strafing. I know my militia assault fit back in Chromosome could last longer strafing than my logi A-series. |

I haven't done too much Uprising yet, but I noticed something when looking at the stats. I got my prototype basic suit and was looking at the assault to see if it was worth going into and it's exactly the same as the basics but with the passive bonus, which makes no sense. Basically you'd have to wait until you have enough to get to level 5 and keep using your basic proto until then.
BUT then I looked at the logis, and at least these suits got more CPU/PG to deck out with better gear. |

Sooo...as a logi i would say nothing has changed.
Whenever i went up against assault 9 times out of 10 i always felt they were easy DS3 using kills. It was always the scouts, heavies and other logis who worried me. |

It's more that there's no reason to spec racial assault. If you wanted to play straight assault, why not just take a racial medium frame suit to proto and use that? The racial assault bonuses are in no way worth 3+ mil SP. Getting extra equipment slots on your logi could actually be worth it. |

No need for name calling. I was looking at the minmatar basic and minmatar logi. Logi hp 240 medium frame 285, logi 4 high slots medium frame 5, logi speed 7 medium frame 7.4. The basic medium also has passive armor repair. Your crass response was uncalled for as I was just asking a question |

Dont forget the side arm. The hacking bonus on the logi would be nice though. |
