I was playing a Skirmish and just landed under my MCC when Penzer Edelweiss of Armed-Intervention decided to try and run me over. I assumed he just wanted me in his lab so I proceeded up the hill to get to my sniper position. Two seconds later I hear an lab being spawned behind me. I figured he was going to another area on map... next thing I know I'm dead and my Thale gun that can't be replaced is gone. I spawn on ground base to just avoid situation and I tried asking him to stop as I get smashed again into a building. Losing yet another Thale! Upon third spawning, he figured out where I was again and spawned his lab over my head crushing me. I was busy trying to look down my scope to help my team! I feel that if you kill someone accidentally or on purpose, on your own team, you should have to replenish all of their weapons and suits. If they have an officers weapon then you give them yours. I have no problem with paying for someone if I accidentally kill them because it was an accident! If people have to pay for their teammate's death then all of the team killing stops! I've never seen this guy before and this has been happening a lot and I am just sick of trying to build my guy and play by the rules when this person gets away with this injustice! |

Hey there Axeman I've seen you at work and you are nasty with that sniper rifle. Thats pretty much why we had to waste that second OB on you...that is if you even remember the match we played against you.
Its not so much that you deserved it, not is it anything personal against you. I imagine that if Panzer did do what you said he did its in regards to the growing frustration people are having with players who give up and redline snipe.
It it they who are eclipsing you actually talented snipers who do achieve something on the map.
I've seen entire matches where our team has been so close to winning but also of sudden the blue dots give up, scamper back to the red line, and snipe the rest of the match with little to no effect.
I'll admit I've team killed those guys before however I tend to remember who was sniping at the start of the match so I dont nab snipers with good gear. |

Whenever I hear the RDV coming in, I look up and around in the sky as I don't want to get crushed. I make sure I'm in an ok spot and move if I have too. Even if it isn't on purpose, there is a good chance to get LAV/HAV smushed if you are not paying attention. Pretty much all you can do. Stay mobile. |

How about to play the game as best as I can instead of being the childish, underdeveloped, idiot that would rather spend all their time and what little intelligence they have sabotaging their own teammates and burning future bridges! Why not work at making the game better or more fun? Because they don't have a high enough I.Q. to win at this game, so they feel if they can't win, then they want to make everyone else miserable and to them its funny. The funny part is a have a three year old nephew who exhibits this same behavior. I feel bad for these people as they have "bully" personalities and in their real lives will never amount to anything better than middle management. To me, now that's funny! |

I had a bolas drop my LAV on top of me three times in a row, after which I stopped trying to call one in. I mean it literally kept following me and waited for the last second to hover over top of me and let it go.
Where the hellion is that pilot's penalty? |

Bummer. He probably was having a lot of fun, twisted minds. I never skilled into my thale snipers, and I think they are going to be gone on Monday, not sure though. |

Vysarii, I do remember and I respect you and your group. This began at the start I tried in game mailing him to stop and all I got back was a smiley face. To the other guy, I never heard the lab at all. So, no sh!t, I normally get out of the way or take their lav. This is not my first rodeo. Still have a hard enough time playing the game trying not to get killed by enemy, I don't have time to watch out for my own team. If that happened in the army you would be in the brig! Just say in if you killed somebody on your team, you should pay for their stuff and aside from a few actual accidents, this bullish!t would stop! End of story! |

I think a lot of folks just hate snipers in general. Not long after some threads hating on snipers i'd have team members shooting me and stuff -- sucked.
Perhaps I killed them a few times in a prior game or something? |

TBH, I agree that something needs to be done about TKing.
It sounds counter intuitive, though I think FF being on would in the long term fix the TK problem. Right now, the only way to TK is by exploiting game mechanics, leaving no way to retaliate except by using the same exploits.
If we're not going to have a negative to TKing, give us FF so we can deal with it ourselves. Trust me, it won't be as bad as some think it will. |

and that's where your wrong.. griefer are a big part of eve and turning FF in pub matches turns into a big grief feast. as who cares if you win theres nothing to gain by it. |

I've lost atleast 15 mill from Bolas dropping my tanks in the wrong spots. Or blowing them up alltogether. What's a few Thale's over 15 million ISK? |

You're just afraid you'd be targeted. No FF means no real recourse for forums asshattery. Besides, there are mechanics to deal with griefing in Eve, no reason there shouldn't be in Dust.
If Risk v. Reward gameplay is to be had in Dust, both FF and "punishment" mechanic for griefing need to be included. |

As, for the other gentleman trying to compare a tank that can be bought to a weapon that can't... really??!!! I can buy tanks all day long, but that's because I'm good enough to afford it! Can't buy back a Thale. When its gone, its gone. That simple! I have dealt with stuff dropped on my vehicles and have dealt with d!ckheads in the past, I am just fed up with the bull and its time to pay! |

When I hear an LAV, I usually get out of the way. Then again, I've only been TKed once and it was a complete accident. It was my own fault for not paying attention. I even got a nice little apology message after the match explaining that it wasn't intended.

Saw some guys from immobile infantry doing LAV TKs a week ago. Got me once, then a buddy in my squad had an idea. He was a scout, went and stood in the road and the guy started driving towards him. He timed it right and when the driver switched, he hit circle and hijacked the dudes wheels. Drove it over to the redline and poof.
I think he got the guy 3 or 4 times during the match.
You can never completely stop ass-hattery and douchery, but you can give them a taste of their own medicine sometimes! |

Use a charged. Much better. I got orbital'd solo sniping earlier today (albeit not behind the redline). I take that as the ultimate compliment. You know how much work they had to do to kill you with an Orb? Talk about giving up ;)
Just mess with people back.. figure it out. One thing to consider is that you may have owned the fuk out of him in another match and he was just extracting revenge in the only way he could.
sucks to be good, eh?
