My point is this: Do you think a personal armor repair bonus is more suiting to a logi's playstyle, or do you think a bonus to the repair tool is more likely? Personally, the latter is much more fitting to my logi, the former is more suiting of a heavy or assault. |

Its for self sustainability, since they can't rep themselves with their own remote armor rep. |

and ofcourse logi has more PG/CPU, the equipment requires alot of it or how do you want to fit it?
do people actually think before they post or does the majority of this community consists of whiny kids that came from CoD? endless waves of whiny nobrain posts lately. this thread is less whiny than others but it is still whiny... That's 30 stamina difference. The speed difference is tiny. The eHP difference is one bullets worth, regen on armor is far more valuable.
Did you include skill bonuses in regards to stamina and HP?
And the speed difference isn't tiny.

second, you just said that 1 module worth of HP is not worth it but a few hp/s is big? this small extra self repair takes more than 10s during fights to compensate for the advantages of the assault. I can kill you several times with an AR in that time. |

Lol have you seen the Heavy suit bonus? It's reduction to feedback damage. Now I assume that means for when your weapon overheats. In other words, this bonus does literally nothing if you have the awareness to track your own heat build-up. And even if you don't, you're still going to be stuck with a useless weapon for a few seconds if you overheat it, meaning everyone will be able to take free shots at you anyway. Plus you have so much health, it's unlikely a reduction in the damage will be important at all.

That's exactly the point of this thread though. CCP doesn't always do the most logical thing. |

I'm telling you, your best bet would be to get them to change the assault class bouns to a damage modifier.
We currently don't have people complaining Logi's are OP just because they have more slots, they're supposed too. |

I'd like that. They talked and talked about making armor tanking more viable, and the first thing they do is add a shield-only bonus to every assault suit.
Obviously it will marginally help every assault user, but it just de-incentivizes people even more to armor tank when they're going to have another bonus to shield tank. |

I heard, there shall be plates with less of a HP bonus, but no movement penalty. Still, I don't think that's enough to get most people to Armor tank. |

Also, every slot they have to use just to "even" themselves out with assault suits is a slot that they can't use for other things. the assault does more damage.
logi fits health mods to keep up with assault in terms of ehp => less slots left for damage mods. |

Why is this such a common mistake? Anyway, there is more than the speed penalty. Its also VERY slow to regenerate, often taking 2-3 minutes to fully regen. And while shield extenders jumps from 22, 33, to 66, armor plates don't get such a jump. Its 65, 87, 105. If it was properly done, it would be 65, 130, 239. Sounds like a lot, but this would make the speed penalty worth it. |
