Logi's will have inert armor regen, more equipment slots, more PG/CPU and have more slots. Their downsides are 1 bullet worth less HP, a tiny bit slower and no sidearm. The HP and slowness are easily made up by the fact that they have an extra slot, and have two-three more equipment slots. The inert armor regen is huge, at max level it will be like a complex armor repairer!
Anymore downsides/upsides I missed? |

Veritas Vitae wrote:Logis seem to have had their survivability bumped a little bit, but all of them are slow as **** now; no speed variant that is faster than assaults. Lack of sidearm and speed is what will get them killed in gunfights. The difference isn't that big, one kinetic catalyzer, and they have the slots to support that. Also I rarely use my sidearm, with reload speed maxed out you won't ever need to. (Switching to sidearm is slow in this game anyway) |

Veritas Vitae wrote:Reload speed is weapon specific and a 6x skill now. Still. I don't use rapid reload at all and I don't need a sidearm. I ditch it for being able to use better modules, and I never feel like I need it even in CQC engagements when I run out of ammo. |

Jack McReady wrote:Assault suits have more stamina, more foward speed, more STRAFE SPEED, more stock EHP (which also means you can fit more damage mods aka more damage with the same amount of total ehp in the end). and this is not enough advantage?
and ofcourse logi has more PG/CPU, the equipment requires alot of it or how do you want to fit it?
do people actually think before they post or does the majority of this community consists of whiny kids that came from CoD? endless waves of whiny nobrain posts lately. this thread is less whiny than others but it is still whiny... That's 30 stamina difference. The speed difference is tiny. The eHP difference is one bullets worth, regen on armor is far more valuable. |

Logi Bro wrote:My point is this: Do you think a personal armor repair bonus is more suiting to a logi's playstyle, or do you think a bonus to the repair tool is more likely? Personally, the latter is much more fitting to my logi, the former is more suiting of a heavy or assault. I agree, though I see why they would do it. Its for self sustainability, since they can't rep themselves with their own remote armor rep. |

Obviously it will marginally help every assault user, but it just de-incentivizes people even more to armor tank when they're going to have another bonus to shield tank.
I heard, there shall be plates with less of a HP bonus, but no movement penalty. Still, I don't think that's enough to get most people to Armor tank. Not coming in Uprising. Why is this such a common mistake? Anyway, there is more than the speed penalty. Its also VERY slow to regenerate, often taking 2-3 minutes to fully regen. And while shield extenders jumps from 22, 33, to 66, armor plates don't get such a jump. Its 65, 87, 105. If it was properly done, it would be 65, 130, 239. Sounds like a lot, but this would make the speed penalty worth it. |

never said it was That's what logis are for Until shields also require you to have a logi glued to you Armor regen is too slow. |
