Hurr durr, no racial variants of heavies, hurr durr only Minmatar added.
Do you prefer them coloring the suits instead of making new unique models?
Their biggest bottleneck is art, its not changing stats on a spreadsheet or them "hating" any class.
Also, I remember in an interview, CCP said that if they can't get all the racial variants of the suits for the next build on day one (that was before they announced Uprising), they will STREAM THE REST BEFORE THE NEXT BUILD.
Finally, I can get this off my chest.
CCP isn't taking any favorites, Assaults are the most commonly used suits so its only logical (oh god logic alert!) they will start with those. |

People also seem to forget about the 14th. I remember them hinting at more than just PC is coming. Im not going to get my hopes up though since they have a pretty low track record on living up to those vague statements. |

They're vague for a reason. 
Joking aside, I don't envy them and I do appreciate the work going into a free to play game. |

Poor guys, you heavies and scouts will have proper new models while the Logi's will be bright yellow targets.
So it would have been illogical to make 3 variants of either assault or logistics and give heavies at least a choice of 1 more suit? |

Sentinel is the new name for heavy and heavy now refers to the heavy frame size.
TLDR Sentinel is the same heavy we have now with racial bonuses. |

When you design content, you usually do it first for the players that will use it the most. |

Where's my minmatar dropship? The same qq about drop suits can be used for vehicles as well, we're not getting racial variants, and we'll have to drop a load is sp to get the new variants when they're eventually released. People need to calm down and wait for uprising before they start qq'ing about things. |

Is it seriously that hard to make 1 more suit for heavies so we at least had a diff choice? They have had over a year but we have the same suit, heavies have a right to be a little angry. |

The art was probably already strained, I mean they reworked the graphics heavily. |

Included is art for all heavies and all scouts. However you can see that the ones not in uprising are drawn not 3d modeled.
Granted 3d modeling takes time (god took 1 class on it. Had an issue with the model multiple times and both TA and teacher could not figure it out. My guy had no skin!), also balancing with all the crazyness going on. |

I really want to go full AV with a Min Heavy, but i cannot see flaming CCP for not having everything all at once. they are probably under pressure to get this out there. I would imagine since this game and EVE are how they feed their families, it is not them choosing to slack off, its simply not having 48 hour days to get it all in... oh and that needing to sleep thing also |

Actually, yes. They should simply recolor the Amarr heavy while they make the other models. What's important here is that they get the roles out there. Oh, and this is Sloth guys , karma finally caught up to me

i was very dissapointed about them just changing the colors of the logis and assualt and not giving the logis and assualts different looks , maybe they should add it later whenever they all those other suits |

So you're ok with screwing over a minority to please the masses? Wow...sounds like you belong in government.
But on a serious note, this has more than alienating involved. There's also money. Real money that people used to get SP. While Assault players don't have to wait to chose their race, they can dump all their SP into a suit no problem.
Heavies? We have to dump all our SP into a suit, that most of us don't want, and no mention of SP respec. So yeah. I wonder how the majority of players would feel about that?
Again, why care right? Assault 514 is where it's at! |
