Hurr durr, no racial variants of heavies, hurr durr only Minmatar added.
Do you prefer them coloring the suits instead of making new unique models?
Their biggest bottleneck is art, its not changing stats on a spreadsheet or them "hating" any class.
Also, I remember in an interview, CCP said that if they can't get all the racial variants of the suits for the next build on day one (that was before they announced Uprising), they will STREAM THE REST BEFORE THE NEXT BUILD.
Finally, I can get this off my chest.
CCP isn't taking any favorites, Assaults are the most commonly used suits so its only logical (oh god logic alert!) they will start with those. |

And Logis got just a color change.
Poor guys, you heavies and scouts will have proper new models while the Logi's will be bright yellow targets.
So it would have been illogical to make 3 variants of either assault or logistics and give heavies at least a choice of 1 more suit?
Assaults are the most popular by a mile.
When you design content, you usually do it first for the players that will use it the most. |

Agreed. My point being would it really have been that wrong to only make 3 assault suits in exchange of giving heavies a choice?
They did actually make three assaults.
The fourth already existed lol |

The art was probably already strained, I mean they reworked the graphics heavily. |

Sorry if logic is too much for you. That logic is flawed. The game is RELEASED on the 14th. It's no longer beta. But your logic is to release only 1 heavy suit, so the most over used class in the game have all their variations? If that's your logic then fine, but I don't share that opinion. My reasoning is to give everyone a fair start at their role of choice. Forcing people into 1 race is not something I call logical or fair.
Logic within the constraints.
If it has to be released on 14/5 (kittens know why), and you can't finish all the suits in time, start with the most popular.
That's the logic, and its solid.
If you don't see it then you have no logic, simple.
In fact I was saying the game is not ready for release and I still think so. |
