I am worried about the video, seeing people I know getting slaughtered doing noob mistakes. I mean really, am I the only one noticing that? Not much I can say concerning our performance in the battle. We were completely unprepared and heavily out gunned. We were just coming back from a previous corp battle against STB and had another planned to start in about 45 minutes. We were already a bit short for the corp battles we had planned in advance, even more so for an impromptu battle for most of the corp's wallet. We pulled together the best we could, but we were plagued with setbacks. Morale was fairly low going into the game and only decreased as it went on. I could make excuses all day, but I don't have any choice but to concede that they were better prepared, had better gear, and fielded better players. I'm not fooling myself or anyone else. We lost, nothing changes that. I understand. Now a question, were you guys the players from PRO Holdings? Yes, albeit a very limited selection of them (plus the one kid who refused to leave). As I said, we were short at the time and would have fielded a very different team if everyone had been present. Personally, I probably would have been swapped out once we saw the map we were on if the situation was more under control. Does this mean a rematch, double or nothing? |

ContaBanJoe, who is known for being a paranoid, drunk finally does something that costs his clan; literally and figuratively by way of colossal blunder....and he gets a free pass?
No. No no no no no no no.
Anyone that is still in PRO after this clusterf*ck should be banned from playing in clans altogether because you obviously didn't have the common sense to join a good clan in the first place, and secondly, you're willing to put up with being involved with one of the most inept clan leaders I've ever seen in 12 plus years of online FPS gaming.
There is no "positive" spin to this. 630 million down the tubes? Pocket Lint? Really? Try to shluff it off all you like, but the fact remains that this is, and likely shall stand to be, the biggest blunder in DUST history and if the players of PRO are willing to put up with this, then what aren't they willing to put up with?
Have some self respect PRO members, step up in the world and join an NPC corp. |

Have some self respect PRO members, step up in the world and join an NPC corp. 1600 members, each buying a ticket for 250,000 for a lottery. Calculate the money. Now think how much money we have. Now think how much money we will have once TAX exists. |

Sure, they're a huge ISK investment, but they have so many of those they just poop them on demand. So does everyone go and laugh at them for losing a Titan? Nope. |

1,600 x 250,000 = 400,000,000
Now that's assuming absolutely every one of those 1,600 entered your lottery. Well, with benefit of the doubt and a few doubles thrown in I'll say 450 mil is a good estimate.
You say you've done two of these lotteries? Well then that's 900 million ISK.
I wouldn't say taking one third of that was a "drop in the bucket."
Of course you probably still have another 300 to 400 million in donations too. Whatever, I don't want to split hairs I just thought that was a bit odd.
I'm not trying to argue with what you're saying; and I'm sure you're corp will just shrug this little event off. Goodluck in the future PRO and try to keep your CEO from "giving away" so much ISK. |

I know i would be doubting if they are the right choice for a Dust corp. (but tbh i wouldn't have chose PRO in the first place) |

This isn't about the money or the mistake this is about Joe going around blaming fictional spies, friends, and everyone else for his mistake. This is about Joe threatening to break up PRO and his general freak out in open corp chat. If a normal person makes a mistake he tries to fix it. If he can't he says he is sorry, mans up, and takes responsibility for it. Not go around acting like a paranoid tyrant. Everyone knows he doesn't trust anyone not even his own GD brother. He sees imaginary spies everywhere. |

Seriously PRO, how do you expect to actually compete in PC?
You think numbers will make a difference? Mistaken.
Look at the fight you just had with PFBHzzzzz. Top notch corps laugh and ride around on tanks while you "try hard". Average corps against you will red line you.
You might be able to take 1 or 2 districts because DRONES infest them. But whenever an average corp wants your stuff, you will hand over the lunch money.

No what it also means is that if enough player groups independently let alone in any sort of coordinated effort will be able to commit minimal efforts and continue to take over any districts you build up for themselves..

Fat Bottom ***** wrote:You all might want to know that the leader of Pro (Planetary Response Organization) ContraBanJoe is a Paranoid alcoholic. After making a giant mistake tonight (3/30/13) and putting a corp battle up for $600 mil ISK (he was drunk and put 2 extra zeros) Pink Fuffy took the battle and crushed their unprepared best of what was on (with minutes notice, and some noob member that would not leave the corp battle). Joe at first made it seem like it was all part of his master plan. Then when members started getting angry that he had lost so much cash, he started raging. In a drunken paranoid fit in his (very large) corp voice chat threatened to end PRO and start a new league, then he changed his mind and threatened to kick everyone without UVT. He then accused some of his leaders of being a spy. (Days earlier he mentioned he even thought his brother might be a spy.) It was like hearing a drunken child with ADD, and paranoid schizophrenia, blaming anyone and anything else for the milk he had spilled. There are many witnesses to this and many ppl left PRO this night because of what happened. This man needs to check himself into rehab, before he takes PRO down with him. Own your own mistakes Joe, and let your brother or someone else make the big decisions, because you sir are mentally unstable, and should not be driving a car never-mind running a corp with 1600+ members.
This is The Fat Bottom ***** and I'm out.

Im curious as to how someone can be so drunk as to add 2 zeros to a contract... and not verify it...
I personally am only in PRO because I just want to play the game and always find people to squad with. I could care less as to how its ran.
Ive seen some very good corps out there, but even tho I might have the skills to play with them, I dont have the time to train with them.
At least with PRO, there is always a few hundred people on to squad with.
So the main reason as to why people wont leave PRO? Simply because most of PRO is geared towards casual gamers that dont give a f*ck and simply wants to play and have people to play with instead of waiting on squadding with people.
I dont speak for other members obviously, but thats the feel I get from the corp. |
