Sounds like SMERG and botc are going to attempt PC out of the gates so they are good options if that's what u wanna do however, if you're good enough you don't need to be in a corp participating in PC because you'll get pulled in to help defend/attack anyways. My thoughts are even if I had 16 mercs from my corp to help me in a PC battle, I'm still taking the best which may not be some of my own guys, it will most likely be a melting pot of my guys, SMERG, botc and whatever other corps have top notch mercs. That's why the FSC is so beneficial, start squading up and playing with the guys in the FSC to find out who some of the best are for your battles.

As you can see from this channel there are a couple corps that have already joined up. I can help with the application process on an alt if you can't get an EVE Trial. I'll be on tonight around 2300 or so EVEtime (GMT) in the FSC channel. From what I understand there will be Alliance chat and mail system implemented with Uprising that will further facilitate small corps banding together under a single banner.

There has to be 8 people on 2 corporations each.

There has to be 8 people on from 2 corporations... Are you sure? I'm almost positive I've dragged neutrals into my corp battles before
