So today I killed an enemy hacking one of our tanks with no one else around, I jumped in and started driving around the map and some random starts freaking out shooting at me, apparently it was his tank that he called in and a red dot must've smoked him and started hacking it. So I laughed a bit, while he continued to shoot at me, BTW the tank was pretty much militia grade, I had to bail as 2 guys with swarms easily wiped it out, then he freaked sending me hate mail after hate mail, it was too funny. I say I killed the enemy hacking a tank with no one else defending it, it is now my tank, does anyone think he should have gotten it back after he got pwned and spawned back in? |

On one hand you did save his tank. On the other even militia grade tanks are not cheap when you are just starting out. It is easier to swallow if you lose the tank because its your fault. You had no commitment to keep the tank alive because you didn't put the ISK into to, even if it was just a militia grade tank. Would it have really been that difficult just to have switched turrets with him?

This isnt kindergarten. Your name isnt on the bottom of your tank and you cant run to the teacher because Billy stole it.
You should have just told him that life isnt fair and he will realize this when he gets punched at school tomorrow simply for the fact that he is a giant kitten. |

If they ever turn on friendly fire and someone blows up my tank the first thing I will do is find them and repeatedly kill them until the match kicked me out, but it would be worth it. Lets see how much ISK I can cost you with the loss of my tank. Eventually the ISK will even out. People stop stealing tanks, people stop team killing. I see a win-win for everyone. |

When you only have a few hundred thousand anyone and you are using it on tanks to get better at them 138k is a good bit of ISK is you are funding it alone without a corporation to give you money. I would mention decency and respect but this is just a game and anonymity really makes people completely different. So I won't even bother.
Even if they don't turn on friendly fire I would call down a free LAV and when ever I see you hop out right as it is about it hit so you end up getting killed. Its just ISK right? Just a dropsuit who's busting nuts over a dropsuit? |

As long as there is a related topic I have a similar scenario: This guy called in a Sica with several mods. Well he lost connection or left the match before he got in it. So was it right for me to have taken it especially since I got no kills or even points with the thing?( they had 2 madrugers and a sagaris, I think you know were it went) |

Dude lol. Are you seriously ******* pissed about me saying who's busting a nut over militia grade?
I run a corp. I donate the ISK. I don't get **** from my corp, instead I gained a measily 7mil on my own threw instances.
OH BUT EXCUSE ME I'M A JERK.
I hope you do find me on the battlefield so I can tear you apart with my militia AV fit in your militia ride.
Punk-Scrub feel some type of way because I said militia grades aren't things to be crying about. When you're running standard, advanced, hell even proto I won't criticize you on feeling some type of way. Albeit, if you got it stolen from you by hopping out of the vehicle and trying to attack enemies there's much I'll have to say to you because you'll know from hindsight just what you did so stupidly.

It's funny people pat each other on the back about taking a team mates vehicle when they have no commitment to it. 138k ISK is still 138k ISK. Enough to fully fit an advanced dropsuit they are putting into something that is militia grade. And yet those who steal others vehicles how often do you risk your own ISK to bring in a vehicle? its not even about the grade of a vehicle it is about the principle of it. |

This is New Eden. HTFU. Seriously.
If it meant spending a mil or more worth of ISK to get my needs done, you damn right I'll do it. ISK ain't a thing to me. In fact. I spend WAY more than 138k ISK when I use suits other than my militia assault with Exile rifle in a battle.
We're not patting each other on the back. And even if we did it wouldn't be over someone stealing a tank from someone who apparently hopped out of it like a fool and got it taken. I'm laughing at the fact someone actually felt some type of way when the outcome was way better than what could have happened. Much rather have some blueberry driving my cheap tank than some redberry.

It really depends on why you took it. If you felt you could actually achieve something with it, then sure, keep it, but if you kept it just so you could troll the guy that called it in, then you are both removing yourself form the battle by using a vehicle that you have no skill in, and removing the guy you stole from the battle by taking the only thing he HAS skilled in. |

I actually took it because the enemy was hacking it, I killed him, and no one was around. A while later some blueberry is freaking out shooting at me like crazy, if he woulda not went nuts I woulda used the tank for some good but he pissed me off with pretty Nasty hatemail so I just let the enemy destroy it while he watched |
