Like the title states, I would absolutely LOVE to have the OLD batch restocking again. Right now when you restock at suit level, it adds X amount of stock to each item. The old method used to add up the request amount of X if item(s) Y didn't meet that number.
IMO this was far better than what we have now at suit level. However, the current restocking method is just fine for individual items though.

Actually that method doesn't work if you use the same module on multiple fittings, it makes restocking more of a constant chore. |

I don't remember that being an issue, though I do remember it being buggy as hell. Still, I'd much rather that functionality than what it's currently got at that level. |

Apparently it is still wanted. It has been asked for since before Chromosome if memory serves. Still sounds like a good idea. |

I agree, I would prefer it to "top up" all the items in a fitting to whatever number I choose rather than just add X amount of each items. |

As example, I have ca 25 of each fitting, but I have close to 100 of some modules. |

As example, I have ca 25 of each fitting, but I have close to 100 of some modules. I'd like to see the old way back as an option as well. It does work, it's just that sometimes it's confusing. Here's why.
If the item that sets the item count for the fitting (what you see when it tells you how many copies of a fitting you have in stock) exists multiple times in some other fitting the one that only has one instance of it shows a higher number of available fittings.
Example: Take a starter fit that has two high slots. Put one high end shield extender in it. Stock that extender to 15 units. The count for that fitting shows 15. Take a second starter fit, put two shield extenders in it. Restock that suit so both slots have 15 units. This suit now shows 15 fits available. But your first fit show 30 -- why? Because you had to have 30 to get 15 good fits from the second setup.
If you can live with that complexity refitting to a target level is a lot easier.
