Were gaining aproximately 10-20 new members a day with minimal recruitment, and our retention rate for membership is excellent, with an average loss of 1.5 players a day (we don't even know who they are so they probably don't have a mic or clue how to contact us on Corp even.) The current aim of PXRXO is as follows: -Continue Recruitment of New Players to the game -Enhance training through the use of Platoons -Continue growing our Corporation Funding (lottery) The good news: -We are getting better slowly as individuals by virtue of learning the maps, and increasing our SP levels, which in the endgame will be a huge factor with a corporation/community as large as our. The better news: -The enemy see's us as slowly getting worse in areas such as KDR. The community as a whole have some kind of fetish for us, and are banging around the forums yelling our name everywhere. Although this makes going to the forums a little frustrating at times, remember, they are scared of us... its not like they are bullying the geeky kid in school, they are bullying the principal, teachers, and soon to be, an army that will show them not only how wrong they were, but that their past words will haunt, to the core, their very future in this game. Our collective KDR will begin growing as the new players increase in level and awareness in battle. Keep up the good work! The easiest way to find out the time it is in GMT is to set your Playstations Time to GMT by following these instructions, by doing so, you will never need to ask what time the corp battles start, as you can simply press your playstation button to check the time. Note on Corp Battles: - Corp battles can be very exciting as well as frustrating. You are expected to have a positive attitude throughout the course of the battle, for better or worse. Remember, these are training matches in almost all cases. - Each corp battle should have somebody with experience in them to assist in getting things sorted in the War Barge, usually somebody will step up and help, if not, try your hand at commanding the battle. If all else fails, squad leaders remain in charge. - You may try joining battles as squads, but remember, corp battles are 8vs8 so there is a chance that if there are 5 guys already in the battle, it will refuse your 4 man squad. Maor --- PRO TIPS FOR TIPS - LESSON II --- First an update on the Corporation! We now have over 850 members, and it would seem that MOST of you are using your microphones appropriately. Here are a few things you should know about your new corporation: --- Communications --- * We use CORP voice comms to setup squads. When looking to join a squad, you should type FA into the chat box and include if possible the current minutes on your clock. (Example FA:34) This means that at the 34 minute mark you were a Free Agent. This will give other squad leaders a heads up that your looking to join them. We sometimes include the general role we play as well (Example FA:34:Dropship/Laser-Logi) * NOTE: Upon joining a squad, or joining a battle, or stepping away for extended periods, always type NFA into the chat to alert potential squads that you are NFA "Not Free Agent". * Although it is not manditory to have a UVT (Universal Voice Transmitter), using a UVT on CORP channel WILL in most cases get you into a squad faster, or at least provide you with the situation updates on squad formations. A 30-Day UVT currently costs 1,000 AUR, or the equivelent of 50 cents a month, it can be found in the market under AUGMENTATIONS. This manual will provide you with comprehensive troubleshooting tips for your microphone, --- MICROPHONES --- 1) Ensure your mic works properly in the Playstation Settings: - Press the Playstation button on your controller to bring up your XMB - Scroll to Settings > Accessory Settings > Audio Device Settings > - Ensure that you can hear yourself if not check your input/output devices and make sure to press X on [OK] once you have the correct devices set. - If you fail at this step, you will likely require more advanced help. Ask on CORP. 2) If you have a playstation camera, ensure that it is NOT plugged in when launching Dust514, Some headsets will conflict with the camera and you will be unable to get your mic working. If the Camera is your main input source then please exit the game. Follow the above steps, press triangle over USB Camera and activate the "Noise Canceler" This may upset any dogs you have during the process but your team mates will like you for it. This process will remove the game sounds and squad chatter from feeding back from your TV to the cammera. Note: If you make major volume adjustments or move the camera a bump you will need to redo this step. 3) Check your settings in game: - Press L1 in Dust and bring up your Neocom - Select SYSTEM OPERATION > OPTIONS - In the AUDIO tab, make sure VOICE CHAT = ON and PUSH TO TALK = OFF Once all is set up you need to activate voice on the channel you are wishing to use. Select the tab squad and press x. If you are set up correctly you will have the option to activate voice. * In theory, your microphone should now be fully functional in Team and Squad channels. If it is not, you should restart your PS3 and test to make sure it isn't just bugged. Often a restart is all that is required to fix a mic issue, provided the above steps were followed correctly. ( a good indication that your mic is bugged will be the lack of a chat bubble next to your name you need to restart) UVT What is it? UVT or Universal Voice Transmitter is used to voice outside of Squad and Team chat. It allowes you to voice on corp and all other player made channels. It also allows you to talk to players in EVE Online. You can not voice on Local. UVT is not required in PXRXO however you will be missing out on the large scale community you are now apart of. UVT Instructions - L1 to bring up Neocom > MARKETPLACE - Locate Augmentations > Universal Voice Transmitters - Select Universal Voice Transmitter (30-Day) This is the best value. - From here we need to activate it: - L1 to bring up Neocom > CHARACTER > AUGMENTATIONS - Under Universal Voice Transmitter {EMPTY] Press X to Activate. You are now able to voice on all comm channels in game aside from local. In order to communicate on a channel you must manually activate it. - Press Select to bring up your Communications screen. - Move your selector left until you see the Channels List. (IE LOCAL/CORP/SQUAD) - Highlight the channel you wish to use and press X to activate voice. Some headsets have a mute button and or volume sliders for team chat. Please make sure these are set correctly. If you are trying to pair a 3rd party BluTooth you will need to read the instructions that came with them or go to there web site for instructions. If it is a matter of not knowing the password to pair your headset. In almost all cases it will be 0000 (four zero's) Last but most important. Activate Squad during game. If it is a corp battle activate team chat. Feel free to UVT on corp between battles if you have it. Enjoy your chatter!

I don't think anything like this would help us improve our image. We have a huge undertaking to keep our corp fun and laid back while at the same time training and developing the serious players. Despite the perception we have strong players. There are guys I run into that I've never heard of. Over time we will find and hone that talent. I think it's a different approach and we'll see how it plays out. I don't understand the hate though. I don't think we are making any claims of superiority and the "threatening" remarks in the recruitment ads are hardly threatening. What is it supposed to say? We plan on sharing awesome recipes for cake and cookies? While the elites focus on giving try outs and sticking people in feeder corps we are giving any and all the opportunity to be a part of a group. Everybody was new at some point. We believe these many of these guys will be future players and hope they will show some loyalty and stick with us. I guess time will tell. I look forward to settling the debate in the future.

I was in that match, in fact I was one of Zepa's gunners but I guess you forgot that. Don't you remember we had a mass deployment during one of the merc battles. Before each match you had us make goat noises. But in the that specific map it was you on the other side and Zepa and me on the other. You were running laser rifle and through the entire fight you kept getting angrier and angrier because Zepa and I were getting a bunch of kills. It was around the middle of the match that you started to get angry, trashing tankers and then specifically trashing Zepa. It was at that point you told your entire team to attack and destroy Zepa's tank. After that match, you were fuming in Corp chat and made a snide remark about age. Zepa didn't respond and you assumed that he was lying and could't respond. But you know what, he was dealing with real life issues that was more important than the game. So instead of actually talking with him you kick him from the corp and then refused to speak with him. It wasn't until I talked with government cheesberger that I was able to find out what happened and why Zepa was kicked. I have a photographic memory and I remember that tragic day perfectly. And you know what that started a chain reaction. After Zepa was kicked he moved on to Sever True Blood. A few weeks later General Grodd was kicked for being too young and he is now with Ahrendee Mercenaries, yesturday N1ck Comeau left PRO for D3LTA FORC3 and just today Charlotte O'Dell (another solid tanker) left PRO for the Pink Fluffy Bounty Hunterz. If this isn't an indication of a major problem, then you are living in a dream world. Just remember this is a game, and we are here to have fun. But I guess you forgot that, and have resorted to internet thuggery as a way to boost your own self confidence. That is all I have to say about this. Osiris.
