Were gaining aproximately 10-20 new members a day with minimal recruitment, and our retention rate for membership is excellent, with an average loss of 1.5 players a day (we don't even know who they are so they probably don't have a mic or clue how to contact us on Corp even.) The current aim of PXRXO is as follows: -Continue Recruitment of New Players to the game -Enhance training through the use of Platoons -Continue growing our Corporation Funding (lottery) The good news: -We are getting better slowly as individuals by virtue of learning the maps, and increasing our SP levels, which in the endgame will be a huge factor with a corporation/community as large as our. The better news: -The enemy see's us as slowly getting worse in areas such as KDR. The community as a whole have some kind of fetish for us, and are banging around the forums yelling our name everywhere. Although this makes going to the forums a little frustrating at times, remember, they are scared of us... its not like they are bullying the geeky kid in school, they are bullying the principal, teachers, and soon to be, an army that will show them not only how wrong they were, but that their past words will haunt, to the core, their very future in this game. Our collective KDR will begin growing as the new players increase in level and awareness in battle. Keep up the good work! We know this is not possible for everyone and were not going to make this manditory anytime soon, but without a UVT, you are literally missing 50% of this game/community/corp. In the future, you may be able to purchase UVT's off of corp mates for ISK on a player market, and there is a good chance you can get discounted UVT's for isk from the Corporation itself. IF you can get a UVT (50 cents a month), I promise you will not regret it. * Microphones. Get them, get them as soon as you can. There are only 2 people authorized in this corp to participate without a microphone, they know who they are. * Tactics! This is important. For the love of Goat guys, please start to budget your ISK! Bring in to battles only what you can afford, that includes saving for future skill books. If your struggling to increase your KDR, consider asking for help on Corp voice, there are guys in this corp that are top in the world, they are for a reason and can help to teach you all. ((( n mao --- PRO TIPS FOR TIPS - LESSON III --- CORP BATTLES AND UNIVERSAL TIME/GMT UNIVERSAL TIME * All times in New Eden are in GMT. The easiest way to find out the time it is in GMT is to set your Playstations Time to GMT by following these instructions, by doing so, you will never need to ask what time the corp battles start, as you can simply press your playstation button to check the time. (remind loved ones that use the same system that the time is NOT correct so they don't get fired for showing up to work 6 hours late.) First, you must exit DUST 514 completely, so maybe write down these notes if needed. - Go to Settings - Date and Time Settings - Time Format SET TO= 24-Hour Clock - Time Zone SET TO= GMT+00:00 Reykjavik Congratulations, you can now tell what time it is in Iceland/New Eden quickly and easily. * CORP BATTLES * First off, we will be posting a LOT more Corporation contracts, in order to meet demand, but we need to setup some ground rules, these rules are subject to change based on how things work out. RULES: 1) You MUST have a microphone in order to join CORP battles. You MUST use your microphone on TEAM channels during match. 2) Anyone can join a contract posted for less than 2 million ISK reward. There are no exceptions to this rule, if the contract is less than 2 million ISK join it and have fun. 3) If a contract is over 2 million ISK, you MUST have a working UVT on CORP. Ask on CORP what the rules are for the contract. There may be special teams already setup for these matches, you could make your team very angry if you do not ask to join these battles while on CORP. Note on Corp Battles: - Corp battles can be very exciting as well as frustrating. You are expected to have a positive attitude throughout the course of the battle, for better or worse. Remember, these are training matches in almost all cases. - Each corp battle should have somebody with experience in them to assist in getting things sorted in the War Barge, usually somebody will step up and help, if not, try your hand at commanding the battle. If all else fails, squad leaders remain in charge. - You may try joining battles as squads, but remember, corp battles are 8vs8 so there is a chance that if there are 5 guys already in the battle, it will refuse your 4 man squad. Hope this helps you guys out! The next manual will probably explain marketplace items and skillbooks that are priorities and save money. Maor --- PRO TIPS FOR TIPS - LESSON II --- First an update on the Corporation! We now have over 850 members, and it would seem that MOST of you are using your microphones appropriately. Our corporation capacity is 1100 members until about 12 days from now where the capacity will increase to 3300 members, and subsequent upgrades to corp levels will ultimately allow us 6300 member capacity. So in perperation for another massive growth spurt, this week and next week we will begin rooting out players that have snuck in here without microphones. To save yourself the trouble of getting pink slipped, please get your microphone working, we are here to help. Next weekend we will conduct a UVT test with as many soldiers online as possible, timing to be determined. This will be a 20 minute test with hopefully 80+ people talking at once, from there we will Q sync the entire army to a match or two and blow each other up! DONATIONS: - We are accepting donations, BUT please make them tiny, the corp would rather you use your ISK at this time for personal skilling expenses. Here are a few things you should know about your new corporation: --- Communications --- * We use CORP voice comms to setup squads. When looking to join a squad, you should type FA into the chat box and include if possible the current minutes on your clock. (Example FA:34) This means that at the 34 minute mark you were a Free Agent. This will give other squad leaders a heads up that your looking to join them. We sometimes include the general role we play as well (Example FA:34:Dropship/Laser-Logi) * NOTE: Upon joining a squad, or joining a battle, or stepping away for extended periods, always type NFA into the chat to alert potential squads that you are NFA "Not Free Agent". * Although it is not manditory to have a UVT (Universal Voice Transmitter), using a UVT on CORP channel WILL in most cases get you into a squad faster, or at least provide you with the situation updates on squad formations. A 30-Day UVT currently costs 1,000 AUR, or the equivelent of 50 cents a month, it can be found in the market under AUGMENTATIONS. The use of voice on CORP is a big component of networking within our ever expanding community. * A couple rules to follow on CORP comms: - No music or obvious/extended disruptions - No racism/personal attacks - Once deployed, change voice to SQUAD comms --- Corporation Structuring --- * All current roles are being handled from the EVE side of New Eden. We have a handfull of Directors in Dust to facilitate ISK transfers between players, and to establish Corporation Contracts. Roles will be available to those interested and capable once they have been introduced by CCP into the Dust client. * ALT accounts: We encourage you to bring your alternate accounts into PXRXO, although its not manditory. When applying with your alts, please let us know what your character name is that is already within the corporation. --- Support Services --- * There is an ongoing initiative to provide funding to specialised vehicle training, as well as skill book subsidies. Enquire on CORP channel for more information. * If you require help with ANYTHING, please let people know in CORP, there is always somebody there who can help you with your questions or concerns.
