Yippee i unlocked complex shield extenders... wait I can't use them? 100s of thousands of SP later I still don't have the PG or CPU upgrades to use 3x complex shield extenders and I bet you any money that at level 5 on an A series, it STILL won't be enough. Enough of this grind, there is no reason to play this game anymore. It took all of 4 weeks for me to become bored.

May I suggest the mass driver, this wonderful bundle of joy allows you to herd mercenaries like cats with a laser pointer, except with explody bits! Or how about the laser rifle, don't let the highly decorative flourishings on its golden ebozzeled on its casing fool you, after all its been sanctified by the amarrian preists to vanquish all foes of the emperess and god with an incoherent beam of light to show the infadels the wrath of god. Maybe would you like to try another frame? the heavy suit has all the luxuries envied by most combat suits, inability to feel bullets hit even the softer portions of the suit allows you to wade though withering amounts of fire, and nothing speaks louder than big loud guns such as the forge gun which blows up tanks to a satisfactory smoldering mess of ozone and the heavy machine gun, it slices its dices it makes mercenary sushi. If you are turely bored, then I have something for only the daring... and rich. A master's dropship flight licence. Reserver for only the most insane and mad skillz pilots out there.

And you expect to already be able to use all of the top end gear? I've been playing EVE since 2008 and only recently got to the point where I could use T2 turrets on cruisers. Still don't have 'em for battleships, not that I can fly any good battleships. This is a long haul game. There's going to be some "next thing" you want for years.

I have another PSN account which is passively gaining SP for a heavy account but I don't know if I'll ever use it. Regardless I can't be bothered with the grinding and still not being able to use anything, it's not for me and is boring. The game isn't that bad but it's not that good either. People will argue but they're arguing with my opinion and how I feel about the game so they will be wasting their time >:)

If you agree with me that's fine but I'm not here to create drama or to rally people against CCP; just to voice my opinion. I'd much rather prefer it if people enjoyed the game, and if they do that's fine! Video games are there to be enjoyed, I'm just disappointed that I'm not entertained like I wanted to be. I'll be back, I'll wait and see, I want to see what the game will turn into; and by that point I should have millions of SP saved up on 2 accounts so who knows............

In hindsight I have to disagree with you, spending a year testing this game and spending money are not in the best of my interests and I don't think that it would have been a good idea. Betas should never have microtransactions, but that's a story for another time.

Sounds like you wasted 5 years of your life staring at some ''endgoal'' through the mist. No I don't expect to use top-end gear, can you even read?

However thing with eve it has over 600 ships 15k items, 500+ missions, 100s of exploration zones, 9000 star systems and dozens of career fields with enough tools for player generated ones. Dust 514 has 78 frames, 1 planet, 3 maps, about 200 odd ended items. The major difference is that eve is 10 years old Dust is only about 1.5 years in the womb still. Did we go into open beta too early? Probably. Are we going a bit slow now? maybe, but ultimately I blame the move to TQ. Conquest system that's up and coming couldn't be handled by the test server and the sorts. And last I heard they're pulling people from Iceland to work on this game now so there are now more folks on it than the original crew of 70. Either way 0.8 when it comes out will make and break the game. But if you need a break go ahead and let passive keep running there will be stuff when you get back eventually.

The only thing I bought was a 2x red dot sight and it was ******* horrible. There was nothing I could do, I played in fear because I knew that weeks of playing would be wasted if I bought the wrong thing! I think after a month I would have probably been able to buy a foregrip, suppressor and sight. ain't nobody got time for that!

The only thing I did in one week was turn DUST on, get a black screen, turn DUST off.

Not really thought much about it but I have gone from playing to cap every day/week to logging on every couple of days and playing 2-3 games. The giveaway is that I don't even care that I wont cap out. I guess I just lost interest after playing for months. Not sure that's the same as bored but the end result is the same.

He could of said EVE is a vegetable, that would be more wrong. Saying EVE is still in beta is sort of correct. Sobriety Denied Universal Allies Inc. 487	Posted - 2013.03.16 19:49:00 - [35] - Quote he's right the game is beyon boring. i actually have more fun watching old american idol reruns on youtube while AFKing the MCC. especially now i cant pad my kills in skirmish? we only get kills for ambush. this sounds very juvenile but padding my stats is what this game has become for me, and in order to do that i have to join a circle jerk of blues since they decided to remove the old ambush with random spawning something that was actually fun to me. they need to rename this new ambush frontline because that's what it is, it's not that bad actually, but it's very easy to have many of your kills stolen this way without super over extending into the enemy line. once i found out the re'tarded fact that skirmish does not record kills well that explained why my KDR had been stuck at 2.60 for the last 2 months. I played skirmish because there was more fight to be had at some points than this new ambush. But after being forced back to the new ambush to increase my kill count i started kind of liking the spawn system, it's like there is a frontline. still the fact we don't get kills recorded in skirmish is beyond stupid. i cant believe these devs sometimes, there so out of touch with FPS. the game has become this boring that i only care about something so mundane such as my kill count.

Enough of this grind, there is no reason to play this game anymore. It took all of 4 weeks for me to become bored. you must be doing something wrong, Igot my comp shields on type A and it rocks!! Check your skill tree..

I have shield enhancements, shield boost systems, nanocircuity, circuity, sharpshooter, capacity, vigor, endurance, lots of other things upgraded.

EvE gives you a sense of a patience, not like you can really do much about it. I hope they are not using Dust as a test for active and passive SP increases to be put into EvE oh the raging that would cause. On Tuesday my Gallente battleship IV will be finished. Still debating if I want to suck it up now and put the 33 days to get it to V or boost my skills so I can use T2 nuets and nos. Or boost my cruiser skills so I have good ship for doing level 1-3 missions. So not having the best things right away is something I've grown use to playing EvE. I dread going to T2 ships with this character. Though for right now I will be happy with the Dominix since no T2 ship really interests me enough to dump hundreds of millions of ISK to buying and fitting one.

So its the games fault you can't do some simple math and realise you can't fit 3 complex extenders on your suit without getting engineering ranked up and having some light weapon upgrades to get more CPU? This game requires some thinking, its obviously not for you uninstall with my blessing.
