Sorry to hear abut this, but glad you're on the mend.
I have to ask, why keep so much ISK in your corp wallet? We have a set limit on what can be in the corp wallet and everything else gets put into the CEO toon wallet. That way, if a director goes rogue, they can only steal a very small amount. It keeps temptation at bay.
Hopefully the next update will include an officer role, which would be a position between Director and the private and can not kick people. |

He didn't steal from he dust wallet. He stole from the eve wallet. And 170mil is change you find between the seat cushion of your pilot chair.. |

Well depends how fast you can act and outvote.
The option would be to raise more stocks (and if you and your fellow 'directors' have more votes than he does) than the ceo does then pass a new voter resolution to remove ceo and get 51% of the vote on.
But if CEO has like majority enough to prevent stock raise vote from passing then well you're screwed. |

my question was if the ceo already has the majority of the wallet what would your response be, your response would only work if you had most of the directors online at once |

@Jaww, gotcha, now I see why it's little beans. In Dust, that's a lot of change but in EVE, it's nothing.
in Dust, the CEO owns the corp, so they can do anything they want, it's their corp. Just like any business, the owner calls the shots and if they want to end business then that's their prerogative. You're signing up to be with that Corp and CEO, the two go hand in hand. If you can't trust your CEO, then time to move on and find a new corp. |

Props to Tritan for publicly owning this and moving on. They have just become a stronger better managed corporation with 1 less trustworthy person for what was either: a) a barely noteworthy theft, or b) a very expensive and overpriced freelance security consultation.
What's going to stick in my mind the most is that Dude who's-name-I-have-already-forgotten burned a deeply placed asset for 500 mil (or whatever) -no corp armory to empty, no billions of EVE-funnelled ISK.
Now if he perma-parks that character just to keep the Tritan Industries name tied up than kudos to him for an EVE-style #$%-move, but that's about all I can muster.
Tritan folks: Please don't take my apparent nonchalance about your predicament as indicative of any malice toward you; I have none. We all know you will survive this relatively cheap but annoying housecleaning. Good-luck to you, and see ya in game. |

Tritan was one of the first Corporations to form in DUST 514 and really become big. If anything, I'd say Jaww did something upstanding by trusting a Capsuleer despite his reputation. All EVE Capsuleers have a bad reputation with Dusters and vice versa. It makes it hard to wade through the waters of who you can trust. EVE is a morally grey area, but I respect Jaww for making the decision to put faith in something for the sake of expanding his Corporation and trying to accomplish something that has yet to be established. Which is a DUST Original Corporation that has it's own Capsuleer presence. I can't understand the kind of mentality that someone must have to do what Shamrock did. Jaww offered Shamrock a chance to do something meaningful in the EVE community, to be a part of something meaningful, to bridge the gap between Dusters and Capsuleers, and he through it away for some quick fame and a small amount of pocket change?
If anything Shamrock's actions have hurt the EVE Community because now CEO's everywhere are going to be on to the fact that EVE side directors can potentially perform a cu de' ta. This is going to lead to a large amount of mistrust between EVE and Dust players. Well... larger than before.
And as far as Legacy Rising is concerned, Tritan Industries will be gladly accepted back into Legacy Rising as soon as the option becomes available. At the VERY least Tritan Industries has the full support of Logistic Operations and Tactical Infantry Solutions. I personally look forward to seeing how Tritan Industries will grow to counter this injustice. And you can bet that I will support them for the entirety of their now, much more colorful, history.
And to Shamrock. Make no mistake. You will pay for these actions. That i promise you. EVERYTHING comes full circle.
