Yeah, there are way too many ways this would go wrong, for both parties. You could get another corp to put down 100 mil, only to then invite a bunch of ringers in and clobber them, likewise, you might make a single kill whilst they might make 20 and still win under the games rules and take your money.
And what happens if you make 0 kills but they make the 149? Who wins then? But even then, I don't think it's even possible to kill 1 guy 150 times in 1 skirmish. With a 10 second respawn that's a minimum of 25 minutes, before taking into account how long it takes you to leave your redzone and be found by the other side. I don't think the games clock goes far enough beyond there to make it happen.
And that's assuming you even leave your redzone to be found and killed. You're asking people to trust that you will fight solo, die, immediately respawn, then rush back out to be found quickly enough to be killed the 150 times in 25 minutes of a 30 minute game, and you're complaining that we're not trust worthy enough?
It's a nice idea and all, but under the games current basic mechanics, it's just not viable. We would need the ability to specify x number of players per team, drasticly increase the time on the clock, and specify exact win conditions to be different for each side to make it viable. Until then, nobody in their right mind would take this challenge.
Lastly, this is New Eden. You can't complain about trust here, because it is a universe of backstabbers and scammers. If you don't accept that and change your perceptions accordingly, you're gona get burned. There is no room for naivety and vague notions of honour here. |

I'm kinda disappointed. I was hoping he would work out a new game mode that CCP might include later.
I think a good challenge might be Assassination where the target is in a squishy suit and is the only one allowed to hack. He has to take all three Null Cannons at least once and has to stay alive the whole match to win. The assassin has to kill him just once before time runs out or he is cloned to win. The rest are body guards.
Those rules should expose the target enough to simulate an important figure making a trip, and give the lone wolf a chance while putting some pressure on him to get the job done. They would undoubtedly need to be tweaked to balance the game, but it would be a fun change up from endless Skirmish or Ambush.
You could just do it for 1 mil until you get it balanced and it would be a blast. |

Honestly I doubt he has 100 milli. in the bank and 150 combat capable suits able to compete 1v1 much less 8v1. I'm guessing he would use a thale with 3 10% damage mods. |

Yes, it would probably run that way the first twenty matches, but eventually you could alter the rules to make it possible. |

Most all the good players are somewhat known by now. Some people you know what they are running just seeing their name in the war barge. So again if hes dishonest im not scared we can handle our own, he only has to worry if im honest, which I am. If he wants a fair 1v1 for 100mil vs. Kreyshawn will will just grab our lawn chairs and let them do their thing. We will on record it from multiple views and have fun for a few minutes. Our corp has too much to lose to blow our name over a measly 100mil.
You can always hire protection since ISK aint a thing.  |

Didn't Killshot get scammed not too long ago? Or am I mistaken for another Corp, how did you earn 100mil ISK from just playing Pub matches?
The rules are so flawed, for all we know you could be exploiting a new WP gltich to get an Orbital.
Just recruit some people and put a contract up for 1mil ISK. Not a lot of people will trust this sorty of thing. There are so many ways to get 1-Hit KOs in Dust that I dont think this is worth the time or effort. |

I earn ISk playing pub matches because this is a game of potential loss and I finally adjusted to that after years of other shooters.
It wasn't a scam. I offered an unusual challenge so peeps think there is a trick. Going against tanks and whatever they throw at me is okay, but the idea that I might get one of them while they 7 kill assist me is unfair? Yeah, too easy. Joke. |

Ok i think i've found a way to make everything seem a bit more secure for both parties.
1. Once you achieve your kill the enemy team must leave the match in order for you to collect all the null cannons and win the game. Collecting your reward
2. Enlist a security company to accompany you into the match and to wait behind the redline, letting you participate in your challenge normally only getting involved if there is a breach of the rules in an attempt to prevent a theft. In other words don't let them have the option of just stealing from you, you have to have some form of contingency plan.
I can contact members of Legacy, we have corporations that could fulfill both roles, but we'd understand if the conflict of interest made you uneasy. We have businessmen here, i realize this is a good chance to generate some press for legacy. Would you mind if the match were filmed and if i did a full after action report? That is if you were interested in legacy. You're only mistake in doing this is posting low hanging fruit where Imps and Bunnies can see them. Do a little more research into different alliances and corps and contact them for your job, instead of the other way around. |
