Personally, I don't deal with politics; I deal with competent, active corps that don't do bullshit. the MSF is one such corp.
He is not a troll and infact a very skilled player. I have seen him in game enough to respect his skills. |

@Vanda,
You should try the text chat channel "LFsquad" if it still exists (very likely). That is a non-political channel with single purpose: let strangers form squads. |

Join SMERG. We are awful but still get orbitals. This way it prevents the "unfair" camping aspect you dislike, but we have enough idiots smacking our face against the keyboard that at least 1 orbital is in the cards per match.
Also, we don't have a corporate ladder because I don't give roles to anyone besides my brother, and this system has worked with my corp of 100+ for years. From the EVE side we take a ventrilo vote and whoever is there decides policy, and I make the changes necessary. Everyone has equal say, just not actual roles to steal crap. |

Dunno where you get your info from. Corps rotate their players through corp battles all the time. It gets them all experience. When we run ours, we try to integrate the vets with the newer players on every single battle we do.....
There are a lot of corps out there that do this. If you had a bad experience with a Clan, please don't let that create a blanket stereotype or you'll never enjoy this game to the extent that you possibly could. |

So, find a quality corp.
Exactly, in fact we schedule training matches with PFBHz and other ROFL corps all the time where all that are in the matches are newer members or people we're simply trying to get experience. |

Hey fahrenheitM. Unfortunately what Vanda said has some merit to. While there are corps that rotate the roster there are a lot of corps that have a steady line up. It also depends on who the corp is playing. We have had people join Red Star. from well known corps having the same hiccup that they were not able to participate in corp battles. |

Vanda, we had you scheduled in for a corp battle against synergy, the only reason you didn't get into the corp battle that we had the day you joined us is because we already had the squads made up. You were with hell storm for a while, we knew you're a good player, it was just bad timing on that one.
You complained that you couldn't find a squad, we broke squads apart to make smaller squads to get you in with a group as well as invited you to our alliance chat channel with 4 other corporations we frequently squad up with.
You are being very honest saying that you are anti-social, but as far as not being included if you aren't part of the top 8, not getting into corp matches, a little more patience than the 3 or 4 days that you had with us is generally required as we all work and don't always have someone on to host/join a corp battle with you. We schedule corp battles all the time, if you had joined our website you would have seen when they are (GMT and your local time), who they are against, and how many people have signed up from our corp for each battle. Instead of just sitting in corp chat waiting for one. Long and the short of it is that if you want to be included in things that are team play oriented, you have to put a little effort in to make others aware that you are interested in actually playing as a team without waiting for that elusive invite.
Sorry it didn't work out in CrimeWave for you, you are still welcome to squad with us any time. Best of luck to you. |

I guess some are more concerned with reputation and chest thumping than anything. That being said, many corps are about the collective and are not entirely like that. I talk to guys in Ahrendee, PFBHz, KEQ, all the time about this stuff... and we all work to get their entire playerbase experience.

We try to mix it up too! If we see a contract that can be picked up we pick it up if enough members are one. Its fun ringing too when we get a chance lol. |

Get over yourself, join a corp. If it isn't working join another one. You think you'll get good teamwork by playing with randoms on a pub match?
This is a team-based shooter. Join a team and stop complaining. Dude, if you're not in the top 8 of a corp then your screwed for corp battles and it's the high school lunch table drama. Anyway, I expected this would rub peeps the wrong way, so bring it. Complaining, expression, forums, goes with the territory.
lolno
u tried TWO corps and think all like this? this is why i told u apply and try us out ages ago, but i guess u assumed u wont get a match cuz ur not our top 8.
we had this discussion yesterday via mail, u think too selfishly and think u always deserve a spot in a corp match because u are one of the best players in the corp. This is the same diva mentality i had to deal with when SyN was on BF3 and thank god we got rid of those players because its that very same mentality that BROUGHT our endless BF3 drama.
I bench some of my BEST players alot when im facing a weaker team to give our greener/less experienced guys the needed match experience and NONE of my players QQ about being benched because they know its not about themselves but about the T E A M
If the T E A M gets stronger as a whole then thats good for us. Playing the same top 8 players if they always available does NOTHING to getting the T E A M better.
U say ur anti-social well now i see why u think like this. So once again not all corps are the same. If u srsly want to have some fun while playing with a corp and leave the politics behind hmu ingame and this time actually be srs if u wanna give it a good shot and actually try to be social. We have everything in place to create a social atmosphere as possible while still being competitive. |

I find it funny that people saw the anti social part and attacked it. That type of attack is exactly why I view people the way I do. I mentioned the anti-social thing as a way to show that I'm trying to see things in a balanced way. But these people see that as a weakness.
People assume that I'm not familar with shooter groups, gangs, corps, but I've played other shooters and the dynamic is almost always there for assholery.
And lastly, if you say you're not into the drama and aren't much of a jerk yet disagree with this thread in a hostile way, then you're a liar about not being into the drama. |

We just noticed that you played with us for a few days when you were on, and then you simply weren't on anymore, we checked the roster and you were gone.
I did notice when I first played with you that you checked yourself when you started to say that you were "just testing us out" but didn't say anything. I can understand how some people could have taken offense to that (like all corps, we do have a hot head or two) lol.

Some people talk too much. Some people over talk people, don't let them get a word edgewise. Some people would talk more if they were addressed specifically rather then expecting them to be themselves fully with strangers right from the jump. Then again, some people talk too much and don't want social competition. But I guess society can put a positive spin on outgoing annoying types before they do silent types, even though silent types usually have more to offer, as in substance.
And just because people have mics doesn't mean they talk a majority of tactics. They get comfortable and talk about personal things during gameplay. Not my style.
Also, "I'm hacking the supply depot" doesn't help any one.
As a good player, working with a team, you either know what to do or don't, regardless of chat. Chat is just a bonus, like "Look out so-and so, behind you." Real tactics should be developed with the map outside of the match. |
