When one side has a numbers advantage even small one it starts to count in the battle sizes we have now.
when we are having battles over 52 people then fine go hide in your corner we dont need you anymore 1/2 missing doesnt matter as much.

The game isnt broken or boring its your attitude and your lazyness to try and enjoy a game rather then to be given a rolercoster where all you have to do is sit there with your hands in the air hoping that sign when you got on was just boring health and safety bullshit

But either the corps that could field 8 players were been taken or we were getting 1 man corps. I got so bored I actually took a one man corp battle and went to fight him. Another buddy of mine joined the corp match and we were taking turns killing him. The point of this;- Dust 514 gaming is got boring as **. There is no real reason to play this game anymore except farm SP. So I decided to do just that while I had a few Baileys. Match 1: Line Junction: I sat my ass right at the back very close to the red line where no one could snipe me or get me. I was reading some comics looking at my team get their ass whopped. We lost. My rewards;- 210000 ISK, 5 Logi Vk0 and 1 Limbus. Total match profit = 1 Million ISK give or take. Match 2: Line Junction again: Repeat what I did in match 1. Got pub stompped again. Rewards: 80000 ISk and 1 Sigaris. Match 3: Manus Peak: My favourtie map for snipping. Team stacked again. Sit my ass at the back. Team red lined. Rewards: 160000 ISk and 10 Balacs This was pretty much the state the entire evening. Except for 1 game where I got no rewards I was minting by not playing. Now why should I even bother to play this game and help out my team when I get the best rewards for doing nothing and there is not real incentive for me to do well during the match when I get better rewards for not doing a ? With the new match making system there are only 2 outcomes;- either you get red lined or you red line the enemy. Either way it is boring as **. I had ony 1 good game last night where the teams were evenly matched. Other than that it was pretty much lame. With reasons like this AFK farming is justified. There is no real reason to even try and do good in this game anymore. I absolutely refuse to help thse blue dots anymore unless they get mics and have enough experience in the game. To CCP: LOL. Do you think but putting an idle timer you are going to fix the problem? The problem is not with the gamers who AFK farm but with you CCP trying to band aid the game instead of fixing what is wrong at the core. There are so many ways to achieve this and so many suggestions have been put up. Do you think by putting in an idle timer you are gonna fix AFK farming? All I have to do is sit in a corner and keep crouching ever so often. And that is just one way of me not playing the game and farming SP. Heck I can also get a LAV and drive around the red line. Stop bandaiding stuff instead of fixing it. The reason why people AFK farm is because they are bored of the game. Work towards increasing the gamers interest in the game rather than come up with ideas to band aid stuff. If it is band aided it can be glitched again too!

Given circumstances it makes perfect sense to join skirmish / spawn in MCC every time you pass the console at home. I can't think of a solid fix to it. Prehaps a Performance based salvage, isk and SP might work: no weekly cap, 1sp per WP, rest of SP from passive with the top WP-sp capped to 50% passive.

Also I think they need to stop randomizing the salvage and make the salvage related to the number of warpoints. IE WP of 0-500 no salvage at all, 500-1000 some salvage of the lower end items like adv nades, 1000-1500 adv suits and other adv lvl weaponry, 1500-2000 proto suits and weaponry, 2000-2500 high lvl vehicles and possible officer weaponry. Not to say what exactly you would get but those are the possibilites so you cant do really badly and end up with a tank or 2.

Just the salvage bit based on WPs will be more than enough reason for me to get out there and kick ass. +1

Also release some new maps to play with! I am getting bored with the same map being played every game. I like to max out my sp but maxing out your sp means you have to endure the same maps over and over again. As far as redlining was concerned. I was redlined this one game and I actually unredlined our team and we ended up winning!!!! I couldn't believe it! All I did was drive along the top of a mountain. put a drop uplink at the top of that mountain which was hovering right above an objective and everyone started spawning there. once that one died. i dropped a 2nd. We flanked their position and slowly took everything back! After that I was redlined in like 2 other games lol but It is possible to unredline your team.

ROTFLMFAO. Love the trolls. If you would have checked my stats you would have seen I have over 5000 kills and a KD of 9.6 with over 500000 WPs. I am putting up this thread after all that and over 1 year in the beta. Guess what? Nothing changes. I am still gonna AFK farm with my main and all my alts. I am gonna abuse the **** out of this feature and put up ways to work around CCPs band aids so more people can AFK farm effectively. Heck;- I am gonna start a chat channel called AFK Farmers so what we can all share our various AFK farming tips there . Till the game gets fixed or better

By named i mean Imperfect, Internal Error, PFBHz, IMPSwarm, STB, SI. Heck even full squads of Hellstorm, Universal Allies, Zion among others would have made it a redline inside of 5-10 minutes. The only way the your scenario occurs is with an entire team of NPC players with few to anyone in squads and certainly not squads that communicating with each other. Or if above named corps(actually really just about any organized non-NPC corp(excluding PRO of course) are equally balanced across both teams. Frankly it just has to do with the fact the players in those corps are likely to include closed testers who know the maps inside and out and just decimate anyone that gets in their way. Oh and frankly my back hurts carrying everyone. Ive scanned team chat for players with comms to try and help them along and all i get is static or crickets even with the new way players are put into team chat if they arent in a squad yield maybe 3-4 ppl actually using a mic, its one thing to not use a mic its another to not even activate voice on so you can at least hear other ppl in a team-based FPS so yea eff it im done trying. im gonna get my SP and then im gonna continue to screw around as i see fit, im thinking about starting an LAV racing league and we can do laps around Manus peak. Ive already greenlit an all tank corp battle if it is participant funded.

I know cool locations in all maps where you can AFK farm without having to worry about the MCC blowing up. I really need to try gunners idea of the rubber band on the controller. I got a leading controller that would really with with AFK farming.

Rather than fix the problem CCP capped skill points per week. Hmm like thats going to stop scum like exploiters, only way to stop exploiting is take a hard line on it and ban the fools. So exploiters are still here and they only have a small inconvenience now they can only exploit x ammount per week instead of unlimited sp. So we now get afk sp grinders CCP try to stop this by having an inactive timer. Exploiters are still here so guess what...... They will find away to expoit the inactivity timer, ie press a button every few mins, run at a wall etc. CCP please fix issue, no business ever suceeded by creating work arounds, fix the issue and ban exploiters simple quick and effective. Leave the potential to exploit until you can fix it properyly. Just make it clear anyone abusing will be banned. CCP have annoyed the player base with the CAP, they annoyed the player base with the afk farming, and this will continue. if you fixed the rep exploit correctly in the first place you would have many more happy customers. now you only suceeded in keeping X exploiters at the expence of X squared potential customers.
