Definition of a 2nd party developer:

Some studios may have exclusive publishing agreements (or other business relationships) with a manufacturer, while maintaining independence. "
Seems to me CCP fits the definition of 2nd party, and not 3rd party as they do have an exclusive publishing contract for Dust with Sony, after all... |

A lot of devs are still checking out the dev kits wondering "What can we do with this thing that will blow people's minds?" I'm betting CCP is at that stage right now, hard at work getting this game going on PS3 while contemplating what can be done on the PS4. |

No, they have a ten year roadmap for the game. There's probably already plans to port the thing over to PS4. |
