Which seems to work a bit better but at the same time still algs out. I dont know if the area size is the problem or if its the server size. Which by the wya was supposed to be fixed now that we're all on the tranquility server. I'm also wondering how this is going to effect battles with more people in it. I'm advocating WiS for us to have more problems, I'm advocating it so that we have more options. From the looks of thing, these are options that a lot of people want |

CCP has already built the PS Home lounge why isnt this a part of the Warbarge and why can they render the EVE player into that setting .I have seen the Horizon lounge thats why Im having such a hard time with this mode of thought that it cannot be done...Im also having trouble believing that these 2 games are truly connected when all we can do is type messages back and forth to each other.
Idk its F2P I shouldnt have spent money on it.I shouldve waited to see if it was all hype...it all just seems like a test bed for gullibility. You also have to understand that Ive been playing this game for a year now so...bare with me.Im just thread bare and starting to burn out on the whole thing.

I think WoD got back-burnered after the Jita Riots:
http://www.ccpgames.com/en/public-relations/press-releases/article/2990/ccp-focuses-on-the-eve-universe
It is apparently still in development, but with a smaller staff. I'm not holding my breath right now. I think we are more likely to see WiS before WoD. |

This si the first time I've heard of World Of Darkness. It was an interesting article and it even more firmly believes me to think that WiS would help to enrich our community and help us to become more of a one world MMO with EVE online. I tihnk that the boundlesss possibilities of having the dust merc and the ve pilot be able to play together and work together on these space staions would only strengthen the game even more. As it is now we have very limited interations with the EVE online community. Now when I go into a chat channel that is primarily used by EVE players, the reactions are commonly "Woah! A dust player!" I feel that the need for the bridge between the two games should be crossed and this is the platform |

i really do agree that this would be a very effective way to help bridge the gap with the eve player base. i think this should get some priority, no matter what the jita rioting podnaughts say!
there is wonderful potential for interaction between players, corps, and pilots in this idea.

I likez it yo.
All types of interesting game play could arise with the whole Headquarters on different planets if people outside of a corporation could enter it. Like an attacking force or sumshit.
Hack a terminal to get in which gives you the option to claim it as your own or perhaps initiate a self destruct countdown timer.

I wasnt exactly sure how this would work out with people owning/controlling the areas and the space stations. I would imagine that in High Sec whomever holds an area is probobably purchased with ISK in Low Sec or in Null Sec space stations and districts would be up for grabs by whomever has the ability to control them by force. I've never played EVE and I'm still getting used to everything and what the rules are but if this is the case I would think this a very cool and interesteding world. Definately no other FPS game on the market would be able to compete with something like that |

As an Eve player, I was excited to hear about WiS and saw many uses for graphical environment for social interaction. Even if there is nothing to do in the beginning, the space to walk in around would be refreshing. Let us at least get a corp pub space. How about it? |

You wanna walk around and have this game like an Open World social interaction? Pick a new game. Go play Star Wars and play in space. The point of this game is not to walk around and ogle at all the shiny ******* armor. The point of this game is to massacre your enemies and make your Corp look good, all the while earning ISK and making a name for yourself. Take that "I wanna explore New Eden" **** elsewhere. You're a ******* mercenary clone on DUST with one purpose only, get planetside and kill with no end in side. You wanna "explore New Eden"? open up an EVE account and explore it then. First off I would like to start by saying, visit my youtube channel @ www.youtube.com/FundiesFunderdome
When I first heard about walking in stations I was very excited, and I can honestly say when the idea was first tossed out there I never heard any complaints from any of the of people I was playing with at the time. In fact if memory serves me correct I can only remember good things are being said about it in great ideas were being tossed around for what walking in stations would be like. But of course for every great idea conceived there is always at least one person willing to find something wrong with it. And like a bad virus that person will spread their opinion until the people who once were excited for the change are now helping to destroy it. The worst thing about it is almost all of the people that are against walking in stations most likely would not be affected by the change because they can easily opt out of it through in game mechanics. Of course then you have the ones who complain that CCP's time is better spent fixing other things in eve, and some of those people do have valid point's but most of them are just bitter because there subpar players and all they really want is CCP to make them invincible while making everybody else inferior i.e. "that weapon is to overpowered" "that ship should not be able to fly so fast" etc.
in other words we know the mechanics are already in place the only thing stopping walking in stations from being a reality is popular opinion. with the launch of dust 514 I think it's time CCP lets walking in stations happen. As far as I can see there are more pros than cons and for those who are not interested in walking in stations well they can simply opt out of such things. it will be a lot less painful than most think and any inconveniences in my opinion will be minor. www.youtube.com/FundiesFunderdome dust 514 gameplay videos etc.

As a developer myself, I'm all too aware that there's never enough time to do everything, and never enough people either. So I'm always looking for "shortcut" features that allow CCP to enhance Eve and Dust with a minimum of extra effort.
To that end, on the Dust side, I say: Open the other door.
The quarters in Dust are a port of the quarters in Eve, minus the balcony. There's no reason not to have the balcony except that dust bunnies don't own ships. But imagine this:
Beyond your quarters, a walkway lined with all your favorite dropsuit fits, leading to a balcony that overlooks all of your vehicle fits arranged nicely in a vehicle bay. The balcony is already designed and built. As are the suits and vehicles. Just a little work would be needed to put them together and enhance the quarters experience.
To all the other stuff, the promenade, I say "Hell yeah", but CCP could probably stuff the balcony into the next release if they wanted.
Decent enhancement, little work. |

One thing I was thinking was that we could have EVE ships transport us, prolly for a fee of course, from station to station, or planet to station. If we picke dup contracts from EVE players they would bring us to the planet or district where the contract is |
