OK i get it, you want 60 points. And technically you get more points from reviving than killing, but for the love of all things holy...Please refrain from reviving mercs before all the threats are neutrilized. Your Rambo medic style has not only allowed the enemy to kill the merc THEY JUST KILLED...AGAIN. Now you're dead too.
AGAIN: Shoot the bad guys and THEN pick up the injured. In that order....
Oh! and CCP, when can we get the range-finder that shows how many meters away the injured guy is and how much time he has left? Would really help this lil battlefield triage thing we have going on, deciding on which guys are good candidates for saving.
lol kush, u would think this is common sense and shouldnt have to be preached eh alas as my coworker always says......common sense isnt very common :P |

Dr Debo Galaxy wrote:Reasons I will always revive no matter what: 1. If you are revived it doesn't cost the team a clone 2. It doesn't cost you a dropsuit 3. I don't care about your K/D and that would be the only thing effected from multiple revives 4. Your more effective in the action then running from whatever spawn you spawn from 5. I hope you appreciate the help 6. It's my job 7. if the sniper, heavy, assualt etc kills you after being revived they are not helping there team because we are not loosing clones and they are giving away there position.(same as 1 I guess)
This, it isn't a big deal even if you do die after getting res'd.
If the bleed-out timer was longer (or you had more HP to bleed away, IDK how it works) there'd probably be a lot more clearing before picking up the casualties. Right now it feels like you either finish a gravely wounded enemy and get to work, or get caught in a fight and your blues die before you can get to them. (and maybe, you might think, if I'm quick enough, they won't expect it, and if the blue is aware enough, they'll follow me to cover...) |

Actually, reviving you first is good for the team.
When you get revived then killed immediately, it resets your bleed out countdown, so you can last even longer while he clears the threats.

as a logibro I can understand your frustration, but then again those guys who keep reviving you during a gunfight are only there for the points, with that sort of gameplay it hurts our (logibro) reputation.
as for me, I only rev someone when the coast is clear or if my squad is with me to provide some cover while i rev someone though if there's a sniper somewhere i wont be able to see them, i also carry a repair tool to use it after rev someone. then again it also annoys us logibro's when the person we are trying to rev decides to respawn making us waste our time running over to them trying to rev them. |

Depends who your resing and who your fighting. your prob better off resing a good player on your team then trying to fight their good player. If one of the top guys on the scoreboard drops dead by another player what chance do you have? the +60 WP is guaranteed. why gamble? if they guy dies again thats ammo that guy cant shoot at you.

IF logi bro's would shell out the isk and sp for proto injectors then it might not be so bad getting picked up while under fire. i know heavies love coming back alive with full armor. |

when someone goes in for a rambo rez i end up killing BOTH of them i always mash the bleedout when i see the area is packed cuz i know SOME ****** will rush in for a free 60 WPs and will get killed as well so why waste 2 clones
This is where the game needs to auto put ppl on team chat instead of squad that way u can properly talk to the Triage |

+1 +1 +1...
I can't count the number of times I've started towards a help icon only to realize it's a couple hundred meters away on the other side of a bunch of raspberries. |

would be a nice touch if we could pull injured from out of the open to safety or at least have them in crouch position when they revive. when i heal some i automatically stand in front and soak up bullets and provide cover fire for them so they can jump away. |

*sees downed teammate in middle of open field* I'LL SAVE YOU! I'LL SAVE YOU!! *rushes out into field, syringe ready ... revives teammate, who immediately gets popped (AGAIN) by that damnable sniper, who also decides to have dessert by taking out the medic, too.*
*second medic appears* I'LL SAVE YOU! I'LL SAVE YOUUUUUU ...

sgt frig ganders wrote:As a logi my biggest complaint is when you sit out there waiting for a pick up, we run in the middle of the field to pick you up and you release.... If you are going to release just do it... dont wait. Staying "dormant" on the battlefield can be a benefit to the team by providing visibility of enemy actions in an otherwise-hidden part of the map, and also reduces the wait time when on the respawn/map screen. |

*stands in front of fred orpaul's gravestone* He was a good man. *puts his arms around his wife's shoulders and calls the kids over* He saved my life. Because of that, we're all here, today, together. May the world remember fred orpaul fondly.
