I'd like you all to know that Logistic Operations and Tactical Infantry Solutions (L.O.T.I.S.) is once again looking for potential recruits to our Corporation. Why should you join our Corp? Well I can't really say, since I don't know what it is that your looking for exactly. The best I can do is tell you a little bit about L.O.T.I.S and our Recruitment Process. At L.O.T.I.S. what we look for is dedication above all else. Not just dedication to the Corporation, but to the game as well. If a player is dedicated and willing to never give up on DUST 514 then the will surely be great in time. We started L.O.T.I.S in September of 2012. You could say that we're young, but we've gained quite the reputation and player base in that time. We started out with 6 people initially who were our first Directors and now we now support a very active playerbase. Our Rules, Policies, and Ideals, keep our members active and proud. I'll go ahead and talk about those for a moment. Rules: No Cheating, Glitching, Exploiting, (Unprovoked) Griefing, (Unprovoked) Raging in Public or at other Corp. Members or Affiliates, (Unprovoked) Trolling, Scamming, Stealing, Spying, Boosting, or any other kind of moral indecency that could harm L.O.T.I.S. in any way. Policy: We do not let Alternate Characters into the Corporation because it is our believe that if your going to specialize in a variety of thing that it is more effective on a grand scale to do everything you want to do on one character. It also lets us keep better track of our Members and Limit Spying opportunities. We also have a system in place for monitering inactivity where we keep track of our members and if they go about unseen for 14 days, they will receive a mail stating that they have 7 days to reply or be kicked from the Corporation. This helps us to be more effective on keeping active players versus ghosts. If you break any Rules or Policies you may be subject to probation or demotion. As for our Ideals. L.O.T.I.S. is a teamplay based Corp. we do not act for the sake of our own KDR's. Instead we put priority on staying together and eliminating the enemy in an efficient manner. Since we are heavily Team Oriented it's a necessity for our members to have a headset with a mic so that we can communicate with one another during Battle. We do not require that you have a Mic to undergo the Recruitment Process but we do require you to have one and have proof that it works before you can officially join the L.O.T.I.S. Ranks. We value Specialization and Variable Tactics equally and have made special Divisions within L.O.T.I.S. ranging in a wide variety of facets. From straight up killing everything in sight to the subterfuge of SpecOps warfare to Piloting a Dropship over the enemy force to provide valuable intel. We have Commanders of these Divisions to train you should you require it or wish to join us in the Faction Warfare facet of DUST 514. We want L.O.T.I.S. to be a respectable Corp. recognized for our amazing teamwork in addition to our players individual prowess. Do not mistake us for an Ellite Corp. We will never laugh at those in our Corp. who actively try to better themselves. "Stand together or DIE alone." In this aspect, I think you will find there isn't another Corp. out there that values this saying more highly than L.O.T.I.S. We play as a GROUP not as INDIVIDUALS, and through superior group tactics is how we win our battles. "Together, we will stand strong." "Together, we will make our enemeis fear us." "Together, we will make our allies respect us." "Together, we will not falter." If what i've said here sounds like the kind of Corp. you've been looking for. We're not only looking for good players, we're looking for good people. We'll take a Decent or even Bad player with a good mentality and attitude over a great player with a crappy attitude and mentality. To facilitate this process, we have made a chat channel in game called "L.O.T.I.S RECRUITMENT" (note that the period after the last "S" is left off) where you will be able to meet and squad with the higher ranking members of L.O.T.I.S. We want to take time and get to know you, and see if we will be able to work with you and whether or not you will benefit us and we will benefit you. If you, have a mic, wish to get to know us, and try out for the Corporation please join "L.O.T.I.S Recruitment" Chat Channel in game. or Contact one of our Recruitment Officers listed above. We would really like to meet you. HOW TO JOIN CHANNEL: -Press "Select" to open the Chat Channels. -Go to the side panels and make sure that you see the Extended Tabs and that the names of the Tabs show. -Scroll as far down as you can to the Tab that looks like a plus ( + ) sign and it will extend into CREATE/JOIN Channel. -Click X and it will ask you to enter the name of the Channel you wish to join or create. -Type in: "L.O.T.I.S RECRUITMENT" again making sure that you leave the period off after the S in LOTIS. -Join. *If you get the option to enter a password or it says "Channel does not exist, would you like to make this Channel?" then you've typed the Channel name wrong. I am running my Enforcer/Heavy as an alt but my Sniper/Logi is my primary. If they can figure out how to start a Pilot/Driver than I expect to start a third character or add P/D to my S/L. Our belief in L.O.T.I.S. is that you should have one character that is good at multiple things rather than 3 characters all good at only 1 thing. In the long run, you will eventually be able to spec into various things anyway since SP is unlimited (so to speak). Also, we don't want to go into a Corp. battle and need something from one of our members and have them say, "This isn't the right character for that." (it's happened a few times and while it's not a HUGE issue, we pretty much agreed on it as a Corp. and so I must abide by it.) I know with the SP cap the way it is that the reason to not use Alt. Characters may seem strange but it what we've decided and we're sticking with it, and hoping that CCP does something to fix the Daily Cap. Keep the faith.

I don't get much time to play during the week due to long work days but I'm usually on a little after 6 pm til around 9 pm Monday thru Friday (CST). Weekend playtime varies (I tend to sleep a lot ). I main Logistics with SMG as main weapon (my aim is ok but not great). my K/D ratio is roughly around 1.5. I've been playing solo a lot since Project9 disbanded and looking for a corp to run with. I have a mic but don't really talk much. Not much else to say. Hope you'll consider me and I'll see ya in-game.

Sounds good, but I would like to point out that if you do not have a Mic you will not be able to pass from the rank of Recruit (Minimal Access to forums and ineligible for Corp. Contracts) to the Rank of Soldier. In some cases you may remain in the Recruitment Channel until you get a Mic. If that is acceptable, please join the "L.O.T.I.S Recruitment" Channel so we can get to know you. unless we're in the middle of Corp. Contracts, our Recruits have our full attention. Just get in contact with one of our Officers or Directors who will be in the Channel. Keep the faith.

Was curious about your corp and if you have any current ties to EVE. I am looking for a corp that is planning on being part of the EVE universe, not just focusing on the fps side of the game. I love using teamwork in games and looking for a like-minded set of people. Also want a group that understands EVE and won't be getting taken advantage of due to lack of understanding once more and more features are implemented. Have a mic but due to my work schedule and wife/kids, can't always talk on it at night but can listen in or use keyboard to type at the least. Am also willing to spec into other roles if needed.

In case you forgot the URL it's u4a.enjin.com just Copy/Paste that to your URL and you'll get to our homepage where you will have to sign up with Enjin, and then apply to join the forum. If your Enjin Account Name is different from your DUST IGN, then put your DUST IGN somewhere in the Application and either myself or an Admin will clear it. Also note for all you potential Recruits. Joining on the Forum doesn't not mean you've been accepted into L.O.T.I.S. The only way to officially be a part of L.O.T.I.S. is to meet us in game so we can get to know you. I feel I should let you know, our belief is that the best thing to do is to have all your time devoted to one character. We enforce that reason and only allow 1 "Toon" per PSN Account into L.O.T.I.S. If you want to have both your "Toons" in separate Corporations (L.O.T.I.S. and Tritan for example) you will need to discuss it with us before you do so. Hope that works for you. Keep the faith.

Whether u need squad support or gunners for vehicles somebody will always be ready get it done.

So we had the idea, every director (remember there were 6 of us.) would come up with their own Name and Symbol that they thought was good, and then we'd each vote for 1 Name or Symbol that was not our own. The one with the most votes would win. I am happy with our name as well (especially since it was my idea =P), I was just surprised that every vote but one ended up for my option which I had come up with on the spot only moments before the actual voting took place, and that one vote was mine since I couldn't vote fr my own. I think rebel came up with something weird off the top of his head just because he was forced to put a name into the pool, so I ended up voting for his since my vote came last and it didn't really count because all other votes were for mine. Ahhhhh.... that brings back memories.... tear

Good to hear, not sure what you mean by "Active Engagement" but I'm sure whatever you meant, we do it. And while not everyone is gun ho about making a difference in the EVE Universe as I am, I can assure you that L.O.T.I.S. will always pick a side if the cause is righteous enough. I am a sometimes EVE player playing my first console shooter and see no need to look for another. I like the EVE universe and am here to stay. I've been on the bad end of L.O.T.I.S. squads enough to know that I like the way they operate together. I consider myself a middle of the road Dust player, but I am getting better. I'm looking for a corp that allows me to squad with players who are team oriented, and it seems like this is the one that best fits what I'm looking for. I believe that in turn, I can be a reliable team player! I am currently in stasis with a corp that I and a buddy of mine started with around 20 hrs left if that makes a difference. It did not go as planned for us :) Let me know you still have open spots. I run an assault dropsuit with an AR and have not spent a lot of skill in anything other than combat and suit support skills. Its one of their older models but its the best deal around for a higher quality headset. It has independently adjustable volumes for voice and game and the earcups are comfortable. You should be able to pick one up for between 45 and 60 bucks depending on where you buy it from (I recommend ebay or Amazon). If you wanna spend a bit more then Sony's new Pulse wireless headset is pretty good for the price. It has all of the features of a Triton AX720 or a Turtle Beach PX5 but costs less than half the price. You should be able to pick one up for between 99 and 129 bucks. The P11 isnt wireless but you dont have to deal with a dead mic. Hope this helps broski. Now join LOTIS!

I will try to do my best learning from him as I go. To help you feel a little more confident I will show you my resume" 1. I have been CEO of 2 corps Umbrella DCFS and BHRD. I was Chief Director of Project 9 in charge of PR and Recruitment getting 160 new recruits in 6 weeks before things got bad with the CEO and I left. The corp closed after I left proving I had been very good at what I was doing. I began Brotherhood of the Red Dragon because my troops were lost without a corp or a good leader and needed me. I trusted a former P9 member to be director to help squad the guys while I recruited and when I was out on vacation for 8 days he promptly emptied all the corp ISK and took half my troops telling them I had abandoned them. Left me a message telling me that will teach me to trust ppl. My loyal members stayed and while I was doing damage repair to the corp I recieved an offer from LOTIS to join them with my best troops. After I saw how well organized it was and the quality of the members I moved to join them and gave the old corp to someone else. 2. I have a degree in Nursing so I work with people in PR everyday. I also am CEO in real life owning a non profit organization for 8 years now with a division in Vannes, France I am in charge of. 3. I am familiar with military Strategies and tactics though I seldom see them used in Dust. Being an Air Force brat its second nature to me. There just so you know this isnt my first rodeo. I was joking about the Emo comment because you judged me without knowing me. And I never knew if you were clueless or not but believe me I have met a lot of clueless ppl in this game and since I do not know you I wanted to be sure you knew what was going on as well as any others who may take your comment as serious and Free may not be the CEO. From what I've seen, LOTIS fits the bill, so I'm interested in speaking to your recruitment guys. About me: I'm EU timezone, have a mic (and know how to use it), run a Minmatar proto logi suit when I'm supporting a squad and my focus in battle is supporting my squad rather than running off looking for kills of my own. I get a bigger buzz from dropping a nanohive just before my squad mate runs out of HMG ammo than I do from any kill. I also have a bit of an interest in dropship piloting, but haven't really done any in Uprising so far. Hope to see you in game. /Gyro
