This is how sandboxes work! If there is a solution to be had, have at it. You don't HAVE to fix the spawn problem for CCP, but if you CHOOSE to, you get an advantage vs others how don't.
But, you're an Imperfect...you don't need any advantages other than your elite gun-game and forum-fu! So, while I do expect that the spawn system will be improved upon, please do continue to demand that it happen on your terms. |

This isn't a sandbox. It never has been. I've never felt as though I've been playing anything more than a generic and poorly designed first-person arena shooter. This beta should not be opened until this game actually plays like what they promised (if ever). |

FYI. Drop uplinks don't fix the problem of the initial spawn at the beginning of the match spawning you between 2 Red Dots. |

Your misconception about people who play COD only play TDM game modes makes me laugh. You'd be surprised at how many people play the objective and COD and would probably get ROFLstomped if you played a clan in COD. Ambush spawns are worst of any game I have ever played. Not to mention there are NOT randomized at all which is especially pathetic when the maps are supposed to be. |

This game was good during replications and even E3 with all the vehicle whoring. However the spawn mechanics are down right embarrassing for TDM.
To those saying Skirmish is the big boy mode lmfao. I'll admit the original skirmish was good, but if I wanted to play domination I would just play COD. At least I wouldn't have to deal with the redlining.
To those saying "use drop uplinks" you've probably never been spawn camped by players farming you uplink before netting an easy 10 kills of of that alone. |

I find the spawns only suck in the very beginning of the game, because everyone is spawning at the same time, i find if i spawn in 20s-30s into the match i wont have this happen. But yes the spawn points arent as random as i thought there seem to be predetermined zones.
I personally think they need to take a page out of Uncharted if they arent going use spawn bases, spawn on opposite side of map or area of least enemy population, add to this you can spawn on buddy which in this case should be squad leader suffice they are not actively engaged in combat and not within 10m (arbitrary number) of the enemy.

I personally think they need to take a page out of Uncharted if they arent going use spawn bases, spawn on opposite side of map or area of least enemy population, add to this you can spawn on buddy which in this case should be squad leader suffice they are not actively engaged in combat and not within 10m (arbitrary number) of the enemy.

Anyway, moejoe is right about the spawns. He is also somewhat lacking in the composition department. But don't let that fool you! Honestly though I think MOST OF US AGREE that spawn camping is a tad problematic. At the same time though, my fellow clones, we have no reason to think that this will continue. The impression I get from CCP is that spawn issues will be fixed for random spawn.
But let's face it. There is nothing anyone can do about people campin your uplink or cru. It's up to us to adapt at that point. The only real concern, I feel, is the random spawns in ambush not being so random and often putting you near enemies.

All they need to do is have everyone spawn at opposite ends of the map for the initial spawn of the game, after that point the random spawning is a perfectly reasonable punishment for not using uplinks properly. The ONLY problem with spawning is the initial spawn for which you have no control over. |
