I think reduced recoil, reduced ammo capacity, cut ROF by 50% and buff DPS by 25% would fix it fine. Keeps it as a LR, skilled weapon for AR users, stops modded pads from working , makes it useless up close but allows people to still get kills with it so long as they are clever and pick their fights which is what the weapon is all about. increase DPS by 25%? Are you nuts? Then you could drop people even faster then before and we have a worse situation. The only way to increase DPS is either increase the damage or the ROF. And last time ive checked the TAC AR has the highest damage of all AR's. So no to more damage.
OK dipshit if you want to get technical, i actually meant the dmg from the gun should be given a 25% increase so that the actual damange output is the same but the ROF is reduced and the handling is better but to counter that with reduced mag size to stop people abusing modded pads. |

I've been saying for the last 2 builds that the codewish would get nerfed into the ground i just expected to be damage and fitting nerfs and not handling nerfs. Myself and King Baba have had several conversations about it and it's been discussed on our internal forums quite a bit. |

First of all, RELAX! You seem to take this crap a little too serious, no need to insult anyone or face palm yourself. I recommend maybe going outside once in a while - the sun is for free, or better yet - try getting some pu$$y (Yeah right). My comment was a general one, intended for any loser that it may apply to.

That said, I don't have AR proficiency skills and I'm curious to know how recoil is adjusted for those with it. The tac ar is supposed to be a midway between a sniper rifle and an AR. It stands to reason we would see a balance between RoF, dmg, and recoil for a role that is supposed to be a midway between a sniper and ground assault.
Think: cover fire, mid range support, mobile mid range sniper. Don't think: universal AR, win button, CQC
The previous version was broken. The gun was never meant to be used at such close range. I think what makes most sense is to reduce recoil ever so slightly or slightly increase damage. Skilled users should be able to land a few shots, but not able to spray a target. These are supposed to be big bullets, so they should hurt and they should kick. |

Just been using the TAC a little longer to get a better feel for it and i'd like to suggest another slight nerf and buff.
It's still very easy to "win" using the TAC and hipfire, it's insanely accurate still at short range, there's little kick when aiming from the hip and hardly any bullet spread at all, i'd think a rifle like that would have a much higher spread and kick like a mule when you're trying to fire from the hip with it.
I'd like to see the hipfiring seriously nerfed with my beloved TAC rifle but i'd like to see ADS firing buffed, it stands to reason that a rifle designed for that reason would be fine while using ADS and actually picking your target and taking the time to prepare your shots where firing randomly from the hip would seriously limit your combat ability, That would also cause those that use modded pads a serious issue. |

Red quickly the rest of the thread and i see some kind of consensus about the failed tweaks made in chromosome on TARs.
Tactical Assault Rifle is long range. Should be usefull at mid-long range and be a massive pain in the ass for its user at short range.
=> Reduce RoF drastically. Should be the slowest AR of all. Half of an auto rifle. => Short range fail & anti-modded controller fix. => Reduce Recoil. Goal is that the aim through ADS should reset to initial point of fire pretty much by the time you can shoot again. => Raise HP back to Codex Damage. Should compensate enough for the lowered RoF compared to other weapons reduced damage.
