For your information. Most dropship/tank/LAV missile weapons are projectile based...... LAG being caused by projectiles from vehicles is now better or its fixed. Fixed. Way to speculate. How does fixing the lag of the few projectile weapon fixes the lag in the rest of the game ?
How about you PLAY the new build then come back and post about it?? |

Same here just teasing you on the militia ars versus proto since proto kills me all the time when I use militia fits.

I kinda agree with Laurent, mildly disappointed BUT as has been stated wait until we are testing it out before starting to get all negative about the patches.
For all we know, there could be a huge improvement in the smoothness of the game because of the fixing of the smaller problems.

Did we read te same patch notes? Some of those things were addressed, but in different words.
By moving things to C++ I think they will improve the wait when loading contacts and such.
Also they mentioned reducing instances of hang. This is probably a lot of the little issues we all want fixed. |

I'm not very confident for this coming build... I'll wait and see till i get to actually play it.. But i have a very bad vibe about it. Yet, kudos on fixing the grenade animation, and improving swarm launchers. Even though, it wont be enough imo.
I feel pretty underwhelmed too, I am hoping they aren't posting everything they did, but I guess we will have to wait and see.
Not to be a whiner. But I was kind of expecting more, at least new maps and guns. We waited how many weeks for this? How long is it going to take them to add the pilot and crusader dropsuits? How long for racial variants for each and every dropsuit? At this pace, it will be 2014 before we are out of closed beta... Lol |

Also, no progression on the interaction with EVE yet. There are new maps Heavies didn't get love just because HMG got useless buffs. We really really needed our proto suits to be more affordable so we can compete against players like the imperfects who don't have a single heavy in there ranks for a reason. This build - huge disappointment. ... Dafuq. Thats a disgrace considering the massive array of ships EVE has for each ship type... I mean, we are talking about...
7 dropsuit types (heavy, scout, logi, assault, pilot, crusader/squad leader, and commander) times 4 races, times 7 levels of dropsuits (1 militia, + 3 more tiers with 2 per tier)
So 196 dropsuits. Seems like a lot yes, but you only need 28 distinct models for each dropsuit.
I would be happy if they focused an entire patch on just getting every one of those dropsuits out there.
It will br a severe disappointment to me if only Caldari have developed an Assault suit...
Bleh. I hope your mistaken Mav, I could have sworn they planned to have all of them in at launch, during some IRC conversation or something. |

I'm with Caz on this. The patchnotes are either incomplete or it's just the way CCP makes their announcements. Too cryptically. We need more details on the Performance. We need more communication from the devs about the real problems that are reported. Except one weekly post about bugs and requests, we don't get any feedback. It's like we are talking to the walls. There are a lot of things that need explained. There are things that we, the beta testes, don't know if are bugs or work as intended. I am gonna wait for the patch to come live but from the patchnotes I don't have high hopes. Also.. what was wrong with the damage gap between weapons? I could understand to make it bigger but c'mon, really? You reduce it? Now why should someone pay twice the price for a weapon and not getting even 20% more dps? Same thing applies to suits, except the slot layout and PG/CPU there is not much difference between the classes to worth the isk. Even 10HP more to shield/armor on each class lvl would make a difference. But who am I to say "buff" when everyone say "nerf", after all I'm just a beta tester. |

Why is anyone here concerned about this?
For me, I see a change there regarding the trajectories that are meant to address latency issues which cause a huge problem with hit detection.
People have consistently reported problems with the UI and I see notes regarding changes to the UI.
As for those complaining about lack of content, why are you surprised? CCP and those of us who interacted with them learned that much of the new patch will be about addressing certain issues and that there will be very little in terms of new content. |
