I think it might be good to see new races in New Eden but they'd be human offshoots like the Joves and Takhmal. An anthro race could potentially be a pretty cool idea and gives a nice basis for really~ mixing up stuff like racial abilities and the like... but not in EVEs universe.

The closest we have to aliens in the EVE universe are the Sleepers (http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Sleeper) and their equivalents. This is part and partial of the universe that humanity REALLY IS all alone.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not slamming your ideas, nor am I going to stoop to the levels some others in this thread have, but I will point out that what you're suggesting is so disconnected from EVE and the EVE universe it'd be like introducing jedi as a character class and giving them force powers.

You never know though, in the PVE mode one of the native races we might see might end up being anthro looking. Nullsec is a big place and this game is very young~

I remember running an NPC mission in Eve Online which I was tasked with finding and destroying a lab in space that housed genetically modified animals. They were basically rabid rabbits of some sort and ate the entire crew according to the story. After destroying some environmental terrorists who stood in my way, I proceeded to destroy the station housing said animals and collected my reward.

I think I exterminated the OP's only hope for anthro soldiers that day.

that is the only course of action when dealing with anthro creatures.

also to anyone who said DUST514 and DLC wouldnt work, Dust will have a single player, its not going to be all multiplayer.

Who wants to play multiplayer all the time, rather go pick up something with a bit more immersion and also the gun models are the same.

Because a manufacturer would never take their weapon design and license it out and have it all over the world (universe) .... see AK-47 and AR15.

eve is eve, this is once again not eve, set in the same universe but not eve.

And the lore is still the same. They will not change new eden lore to suit some console gamer that wants it.

yet its built on a console, hmm.. wonder whos gonna mention most of the things, eve fanboys know nothing about console gaming, no one hears knows about what I have to offer.
